I am sick......

I have one of those annoying summer colds... I had to skip exercise this morning because I couldn't get myself out of bed... and I may have to skip it tomorrow too... if these classes and riding times were later in the day, I could probably do it...

I hate being sick!!!!!

Congrats, Em, that's amazing weight loss so far! I'm so glad you're doing so well!!!! You're going to be a your goal weight pretty soon!!!!

I'm still sick. Haven't done a lick of exercise because I want to take care of myself through this and I feel kind of weak and sick to do what I normally do.

Tonight I'll go out with the boyfriend. We haven't done that in a while.....

I am 16 days into ortho-tricyclen, and aside from the earlier nausea, I haven't noticed any significant side effects.

My other health problems are flaring up... I have had lots of abdominal pain on and off since early this year, especially in my left rib cage. It's been bad again for almost 2 weeks. I had a CT scan on Friday and everything looked normal. My legs have continued to bruise as well, which I think is somehow related because both conditions started at the same time. Another round of blood-word showed my blood cells, platelets, etc are still all normal, so I'm optimistic that it isn't cancer. I have a Wednesday appointment with a surgeon to see about getting a look at the inside of my stomach and/or colon with a scope to try to find the problem. Hopefully I'm getting close to finally finding out what's wrong! I want to get past this so I can get my focus back on becoming healthy enough to try to conceive.

I hope the last week or so of the month treats you all well; I can't believe how fast August is flying by!

I'm beginning to feel better!

Still weighing 168.6 lbs, despite the dinner last night... I think it's because of the cold medicine, it's a great diuretic... once I'm off it, I have a feeling I'll bloat up, but I'll enjoy this for now.

I am feeling so well, I'm looking forward to going back to my Pilates class tonight!!!!! YAY!!!!

I always hate being so sick.

JustSharing83, I hope they find out what's wrong!!!

I haven't disappeared! Just distracted with eldercare problems... ugh!

But I'll be back as soon as it blows over.

A couple of days ago, I put away the scale because I technically only weigh-in once a week, but I was weighing every day and well, I think I was using that scale too much. I also think I need to stick to my plan because it works, not because the scale is up or down and I can "treat" myself. After all, I need to trust my plan (or change it)....

It's freaking scary not to have the scale to check every day....

I'm feeling much better from my cold, though!!!!

I'm still struggling with the scale not moving.

I am so freaking frustrated it's not even funny.

I am falling off the wagon. My diet was terrible the past weekend that I havent even bothered tracking my points.

Friday evening, my husband picked me up from work and we went to a seafood buffett, and the to Dave & Busters for a round of air hockey.

Saturday was too hot, so we stayed indoor all day till about 7pm.. We decided to go to a pub for some beer and I ate some scotch eggs. On the spur of the moment, we decided to buy bowling shoes and go bowling.. More Beer at the bowling alley

Sunday was dinner at my parents. And my mom always likes to cook up a storm for her favorite son-in-law

On monday I was up to 160lb with all the water weight. I have been eating bananas like there is no tomorrow, and I am down to 158 this morning. It is supposed to get cooler this week, and so I am hoping that I may be able to go for a walk in the park.

Completely understand.

I'm trying out a new heart rate monitor because my post over why I am still in this stupid plateau suggested one. I can't get it to work. I'm hating it already.

Today, my boyfriend suggested lipo.

It has been 4 days since I finished the active pills in my birth control. I just noticed some very brown discharge and I have a bit of a break-out around my mouth. Since it's my first month, I don't really know what to expect. Hoping for a period! -edit- Brown spotting turned to red blood later, so looks like BC is helping.

I mentioned before I was meeting with a surgeon about abdominal pain... I had a scope done to look at my stomach but everything was normal. He has focused back on my gallbladder like my family doctor, and I finally believe that may be the problem. I had some sharp aching in my right side yesterday, then after lunch today, it went crazy. Horrible stabbing pain in my right side with nausea and dry heaves for over an hour. I'm having a few more tests and should find out Friday if I need surgery. I can only have crackers and water until further notice.

He does not feel my leg bruising, pain, and twitching are related to the abdominal stuff and recommends that I see an Internist once I'm straightened up.

Here's hoping September is a better month! Take care, gals!!
