Mod - Eek! Mice! And I'm sure the baby will be happy where ever the baby ends up, so long as mommy and daddy are nearby!
Kestrel - Hang in there for those last three years! My dad was in the Navy for 21 years, and it was tough when he was sent off on a cruise for six months at a time. But from what I hear the retirement benefits at 20+ years are totally worth the wait :) Congrats on the loss! LeeAnn - Ouch, getting up at 5 sounds like no fun! Hope things calm down for you and that you see that loss you're looking for. KimL - As for your points level, just see how it goes. if you feel you need an extra snack on the nights you waitress, have an extra point or two. Alternately, if you are eating the extra point or two and aren't losing very well, try dropping it for a couple weeks. Just play around til it feels right! As for eating all your points... well... I think a LOT of people have this problem when they first start WW because they believe they need to eat small, 1 or 2 points snacks and meals and end up way below their daily level. WW is not about deprivation. WW would not give you points you are not supposed to use! If you routinely don't use all your points your body will get used to such a diminished level of intake and your weight loss will adjust accordingly (as in, your body will hang on to more of what you give it). So while once in a blue moon it's ok to eat below your daily target, please try to get within a point or two of your target EVERY day, ideally meeting it 99% of the time! Toss out the WW soups and 1 point yogurt and whatever, eat full-fat varieties and nuts and avocados and make sure you get your 2 oil servings in until you are more comfortable eating all of your points. Shrink - Yes, I got the blanket for my nephew finished, along with a couple of little hats! Turns out his head is FREAKIN HUGE so one of the hats I made was too small, but the other one fits well as I made a larger one with the thought that he'd grow into it. Well, no growing necessary! I hope you are feeling better. Your soup sounds good, I make a similar one with kale instead of spinach and it is fantastic! (Kale is the most nutritionally dense vegetable, apparently, so I've been working it into my food more often.) I haven't seen Faerie around lately either - she was posting down in the biggest loser part but I haven't seen a post recently. She was about to leave her job and remember she gets married in pretty much a week... so I'm sure she's busy busy! vday - I am so glad to see you back :) I know you came back a little while ago but I am not sure I told you that yet! It sounds like you are making good progress... back away from the 200's... nessa - that is strange that your meeting was canceled. When my leader is not there there are always others around who can run it... Strange! I can't keep cereal in the house, I totally eat the whole box in a day or two... Ok! So here I am post-nephew. The last six days have been ROUGH on my waistline, let me tell you. I am seeing 188s, which is a long way from where I last weighed-in. Part of me doesn't want to go to the meeting tomorrow so I don't have to face this reality, but I am going to make myself. This is when I need the meetings the most! I have been slacking off on exercise too. I am just generally in a little bit of a WW funk, but I know I can pull myself out of it. I'm at one of those places - where I am at the lowest weight I've been as an adult, and therefore the lowest place I am mentally comfortable. I think that is contributing to me being stuck where I am. I have been right here, 186/187 since August! I would love to see the 170's by the end of the year... we have 12 weeks and I'm sure I can do it if I get myself back on track. In other news, DH finally got a little side job. He's been looking for something to do while he finishes his dissertation and applies for academic jobs, and he finally was offered a job at this neat little local coffee place. I am kind of jealous, I think it would be a ton of fun to work there! (Case in point: the first question he was asked by the owner during his interview was "tell me a joke"... I have no idea what I would have said!) Today is his training day, I hope he has a good time. From my end, having been the sole money maker for so long now, it sure will be nice for him to be contributing to the household in some small way! And finally, for those who are curious, a newborn baby :) He's barely an hour old here. Note his giant barrel chest! http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e1...e/IMG_1484.jpg |
Ok well I'm copying my huge post from this morning over here so it won't get missed!!!
OK I have seriously been gaining too much weight. My thighs feel fat. My size 10's are starting to get tight around my legs. It needs to stop! I think the problem was that I would gag whenever I even THOUGHT about eating vegetables for quite a few weeks there. Well my nausea is almost pretty much gone so I cut up a pepper and some carrots today for snacks and I didn't get sick to my stomach when I was cutting them up :) so I think I will be OK to eat them. I'm also going to buy salad veggies tonight (woohoo) and start eating healthier and more balanced meals. I'm hoping that I can just maintain where I am for a few weeks at least. I don't want to lose the weight, just want to sort of "even out" the gaining. I don't mind gaining weight for the baby, but I want it to be healthy! So DH and I were talking last night. We were going to re-finish half of our basement and move some stuff down there to have a big room for the baby. Well, we went over our finances and it just isn't going to happen. We have a smaller bedroom that needs some work (paint, new floor, heating vent) and we are going to do that room instead and put the baby in that room. Its nursery size, and then in a few years when we move the baby to the larger room we will have the money to re-do the basement. It WAS finished when we bought the house, but then we found out we have mice nesting in the walls and so we un-finished it. We found out how the mice were getting in and sealed that up. We were mice free last winter, so I felt Ok with re-finishing the room. Oh well Jaime - Congrats on your new little nephew! lizzy - Do you have a recipe for that white bean soup? It sounds yummy! vdaybaby - I think finances are hard on everyone right now Way to go on the walking! I need to do more of that. nessa - Wow, I would have been a little annoyed if I went to my meeting and then there was no meeting like that! Did you end up making it to another one? KimL - :bravo: on your loss! Joslynn - I had a bad run in with cereal yesterday. I have been so hungry in the morning. I ate a bowl of cereal and was still hungry. So I had another bowl. BAD IDEA! I cannot eat large amounts of food in one sitting anymore. No more room! I felt miserable until later in the afternoon! |
morning all i haven't posted in a few days didn't get much sleep yesterday and ended up at the doctors with bronchitis and a ear canal infection...ugg. so anyways am recouping and still planning on starting on monday.

Jaime, your nephew is adorable. Nephews are the bestest thing (nieces are good too, but nephews are so much better) I have several nieces and only one nephew and he is so much fun. I hope you enjoy being an Aunt! Remember to buy him drums for his first birthday--it's your "Aunt"iful duty.
Congratulations! |
jaime - Congrats on your nephew, he's adorable! Sorry to hear about the WW funk, but there's definitely time for you to make it to the 170s by the end of the year. Our starting weights and height are pretty much identical, so it's really encouraging for me to see your loss, and I can't wait until the day that I'm in the same spot. :)
mod - Just eat healthy (under the guidance of your health care provider, of course!) and your body will do what it needs to do. I gained the least with my first daughter (gained about 30 lbs), and she ended up being 10 lbs! And sorry about the mice in your nursery-to-be. me4life - Sorry to hear you're sick, I hope you start feeling better soon. Still plugging along here. For the next week or so I'll be avoiding wheat and legumes (in addition to dairy and soy) to try to figure out more potential allergy issues with my 2 month old, so I'll have to get a little more creative with my meal planning. |
Quote:
As for the wheat, etc is your baby getting allergic reactions (hives, trouble breathing, etc) or just digestive problems? |
Doh, I read it as mice being in the nursery. My brain doesn't really know I'm awake yet. ;)
She's showing signs of a food intolerance to something in my diet, not an IgE allergic reaction. Mainly digestive issues (TMI - mucousy poops with streaks of blood, and lots of screaming and what appears to be stomach discomfort) though dairy in my diet (both cow's milk and goat milk) caused some eczema. All 3 of my children have had dairy & soy protein intolerances, so I wasn't surprised by that one. But I've been keeping a food diary (which WW online is making a lot easier!) and yesterday she was just screaming and inconsolable, and that was following several days with a lot of wheat and legumes in my diet. I'm going to eliminate both of those for several days, then introduce one back in to see if I can narrow it down. |
Hello! I have just finished reading Thread # 15. I have not posted much but I have been lurking at 3fc for a few years now. This thread seems great! I have been doing WW since 09/07 and so far I have lost 110 pounds. It has been great for me so far but I still have about 50-70 more pounds to lose. I say 50-70 because I really won't know until I get there. I currently weigh 235 and I am 5'8". The BMI says I should weight 164 or less to be a normal weight so we will see.
I stopped going to WW meetings in June of this year for financial reasons and have been doing it at home. My weight loss has slowed down quite a bit in the past month or so, and I am thinking that it may be somewhat of a plateau. Anyway, I plan on shaking up my plan a bit to see what happens. I look forward to getting to know all of you. You all seem like a great group of people! |
me4life - feel better! does it still look like you'll be re-starting tomorrow?
steph - Ooh, drums! I'm pretty excited to play with him as he gets older, and I think my husband is just going to adore him... My dad is obviously very proud as well as this is his first grandson and in our family boys are hard to come by (everyone has girls!). kestrel - Goodness, there is a lot to consider! I hope you are on your way to getting it figured out. It can be done, I'm sure, and I know it's worth it for your little one. Let us know if we can help by digging up a recipe or anything :D Tracy - Hi! What AMAZING progress you have made, congratulations on that! I agree with not knowing what your goal is til you get there. My number is totally arbitrary, I picked it because it's 10% four times :p Keep us posted on your progress and let us know if we can be of any help! Well I am feeling nice and committed to the cause today. I exercised for the first time in a week and a half last night and who wants to work so hard and then undo it all with poor eating the next day? Last night I made up a couple different kinds of soup (apple-ginger butternut squash (1 point!) and a vegetarian chili (2 points!)) and froze them, today I will be making potato, sausage, and kale soup and a beef barley stew in the crockpot as well. I feel better with a well-stocked freezer, these things are the equivalent of Lean Cuisine for me, I just grab one quickly to bring to work for lunch. Has anyone heard of putting canned pumpkin in chili before? It was suggested at my meeting yesterday and I had never heard of it. They say you can't taste the pumpkin, it makes the chili nice and thick, and makes it really, really filling. Thoughts? |
Hi all may I join? This is my fourth week on WW and so far 5.1 down. I go the gym quite often...(It's a requirement for my degree :woohoo:)The last stretch I did was 6 days. I am taking today off but back to it tomorrow. I am married and in college with no children but a dog, lizzard and a ferret. I am a photographer on the side and once I'm at goal, I will be stepping to the other side of the camera for "goal" pictures.
I hope you all have a great day ~Christina |
back...maybe?
Hi all...I've definitely been not concerned about dieting or exercise at all the past few weeks. Thankfully I have not gained back any of the weight I lost the whole 1-2 weeks I was trying. I guess I'm back now...I think I need to start frequenting the site more to get some support. I don't know anyone where I live now that can really help me out or that I'm even interested in sharing this with, so 3FC will be a big motivator for me!
WW flex program worked so well my first time around, I lost 25 lbs. Now I've gained 10 back, but I'm ready to commit and see this thing through. No more mini goals, just time to plow right through! |
Thanx for the welcome Jaime! I will definitely keep you up to date about my losses and decisions I am leaning toward as far as a goal. I know for sure that I want to be under 200 but I just do not know how far so we will see.
I had a pretty good day. Just got home from our Bible Study awhile ago and just trying to wind down for bed. I have decided that I am going to try and change a few things for the upcoming week. I think I have been going a little over points in the evenings by just eyeballing portions. I need to get back to exact measuring and it also would not hurt to write everything down since I tend to have a bite here and there throughout the day that I do not count. No wonder my weight loss has slowed down right?? At least I know the problem and can solve it. I am looking forward to posting here!! |
well i'm finally getting around to reading up on posts and wanted to leave one myself.
well i'm definately feeling better and food helps me keep my meds down. tommorrow is my first day so i am kinda stressing about what to eat and what not but not to bad i guess i'll survive my hardest thing is giving up regular pop but i'm sure i'll survive |
TracyMichelle - I hear you about the little bites here and there! That's been a hard habit for me to break, I would end up eating little bits from my kids meals and snacks, licking the peanut butter spoon and jelly spoon, sure honey mommy will eat the rest of your cookie... and so on. Whew, once I started paying attention I realized how much was really going in!
me4life - Giving up Coke has been one of the hardest things about this for me. I'm still having one can in the morning :o but I record it in my points and make sure I allow room for it. Even that is a big change from the 3 or 4 cans a day I used to drink. I had my 4th weigh in this morning, happy to see the scale still moving in the right direction. I'm hoping to make it to Onederland before Thanksgiving. :D |
Hello everyone!
Mind if I join your group? I have been on and off of WW for 2 years and decided this morning that I have to get back to it and stick to it this time! I Meetings for me are on Tuesdays so I will have to get a tracker tomorrow and get back on track! I am a high school computer teacher in Nebraska and find all sorts of reasons why not to workout when I get home at night. That is my goal right now - to work out everyday even if it is just a 20 min walk! We are taking a trip in December to Vegas, I would love to be down 20lbs by the time we go, although that seems like a lot, I am confident I can do it if I just put my mind to it! |
Haven't been around for a couple of days, had a very busy weekend hiking in NH, doing some volunteer work, etc. Very fun and very busy!!
No time for personals with the exception of a :welcome2: to alliez. I am a huge fan of this site and of course we don't mind if you join our group!! As for your goal of 20 min of walking a day, I have only recently come to appreciate the power of walking. I think it has helped me tremendously, as it is such good exercise yet doesn't necessarily feel too tiring. Good luck!! S |
Hey everybody. Haven't posted in a while due to lack of time and patience. Also I will have to post because I forgot my pen to write down all my clues for responses...
Welcome Tracy. Congratulation on such a significant loss. I hope to be in your shoes soon. Welcome Lady Burchett. Congrats on your 5 pund sticker...I love my stickers at the meetings. It is juvenile but it a reminder for me and I look forward to those and bravos. Judy Your nephew is so cute. I love having a nephew. They are quite fun. My 6 yr old nephew is playing football this year for the first time. I love going to games and cheering for him. He gets so excited. He is adorable. Stephanie I agree. It is her "Aunti"ful duty. I have bought my nephews every noisemaker imaginable. Last week I had a gain of .2. I wasn't really dissappointed as usual because I knew in my heart of hearts that I had been doing what I was supposed to. I have started using Tubo Jam and it is so fun. It is hard work but the fun make you work through it. I am little worried though. It seems to tone and build muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat (duh) and I am scared I will see a gain. I only use it about two to three times a week and the other days I walk (which by the way I RAN and ENTIRE mile the other day). I guess I will just wait and see how it goes but I want to know you guys thoughts. Another I noticed is that I am getting away from eating until you are comfortable. I have the points and I eat until I am full. It tastes so good. Now I know that is the mentality that got me where I am but how can I remind myself not to do that and even more than that not worry about what is left on my plate? Well that is what I am working on this week and hopefully I will see results. That is all I can think of for me to gain the .2 last week. Any thoughts. Well until my next post. |
kestrel: I totally believe you can make it to onederland before thanksgiving! great job...keep it up!
alliez: I agree with you on the working out thing...I have been trying to get at least some movement in any way I can...even if it's just walking home instead of taking the bus cakebatter: Don't be afraid of muscle girl! You might gain a tiny bit at first from getting muscle, but you'll look and feel a lot better! Muscle may weigh more than fat, but it looks better than fat too! Everyone raves about TurboJam, I think I might have to check it out. As for the eating, I noticed that i overeat strictly for the taste. These last couple weeks I haven't had much money, so I haven't had ANY junk food in the house, and I noticed that I eat and binge WAY less because I don't have any really good tasting junk to eat. On that note, I have been so addicted to sugar lately! I notice that I have been eating sweet junk EVERY day. Yesterday it was oreos and ice cream, today it was cinnamon rolls. I am honestly addicted to it. So I think I am going to have a sugar fast for a couple of days, like 3 or 4. The only refined sugar product that I am going to eat is cereal for breakfast. I just get into the habit of filling up any extra points that I have with sugar. I will say "Oh I have 5 extra points, I might as well eat some ice cream or cookies". So the next couple of days, NO sugar for me! I actually managed to maintain my weight this week even with TOM, so I am hoping to see a loss once TOM is over. |

Kestrel -- good luck with Onederland before thanksgiving!! I know you can do it!! Jaime -- what an adorable baby!! :congrat: Faerie, where are you?? I miss you!! So, scale reads 124.8 this morning. I think I'm going to go by my old apt and grab my old scale. I've been using my roommate's for the past month, and it hasn't really done anything wacky, but I am just having a really hard time believing it these days. This is also because I've done very little work to lose these last few lbs. I've been walking more, but my eating has been the same as always. This past weekend I did a pretty challenging hike on Sunday and spent Saturday spreading mulch in a neighborhood park, which was all the kind of fun exercise that I wish I could do all the time, but still...6 lbs in a week?? Though, I do happily have to say that I just bought a pair of size 4 Gap cargo pants that are already too loose. I don't know, over the next few weeks i'll have my :crossed: Sorry to babble. I can't help it. Been hoping to see 125 for years, and now that it's happened, I can't even accept it! S |
Parmesan Chicken Tenders
I tried the WW parmesan chicken tenders last night... THEY WERE AMAZING!!!
Sorry, excited, had to share. Have been doing pretty well, big weigh in tomorrow and I am expecting fairly decent results!!! Weather is beautiful in VT, turning colder though. 100 calorie snack packs are my saviors. They make it much easier for me to plan for my day! Short on time... |

As for eating until you're full instead of satisfied... if you have too many points leftover at night and you feel the need to eat until you're full to finish up those points, why not try spreading them out a little differently during the day? Have a high-point snack before dinner so you can eat a moderate, satisfying amount of food and still have finished your points for the day if that will help. A handful of almonds or a tbsp of peanut butter will not fill you up but will get some healthy fats in your diet and use up some points. Quote:

Well I feel back on the wagon. I've been eating OP since Saturday and have exercised twice (at a minimum I must do it every other day) - TurboSculpt on Sunday and elliptical yesterday. Did some random weight lifting arm stuff in my livingroom this morning while waiting til it was time to leave for work. This is my first week back to working out on a schedule since we moved a couple of months ago... it feels great! I am wondering though if it will show on the scale Saturday or not. We shall see. So my FIL is coming to visit Friday and is staying through Monday morning. It's a short visit he tacked on to one of his business trips. (He lives in Brazil, does business with some regularity in Denver, is catching a flight to Cville before returning to Brazil.) I am already stressing over cleaning the apartment and getting it set up for his visit... Ack! DH also starts his new job tomorrow. There are about a million things that need to be done, and of course that's when DH finally finds something to keep him out of the house (otherwise I would have taken advantage of his house husbanding abilities). I have my work cut out for me this week! Oh, and Sonja - Faerie posted in the blue team BL thread today I think, she's getting married this weekend, hence the lack of being around very much! :D |
Oh, right! Faerie's got a good reason not to post, I suppose. I didn't realize you were both on Blue -- I'm on Red!! Man, all the WW ladies that I love are on the other team -- Manick, too, right? Oh, well!
|
Yep, Manick is on blue as well :D And congrats on winning the week, by the way! :carrot:
|
umm what is blue and why can't they post
|
Okay- I went to my meeting and weigh-in today and I have to say that I was kind of disgusted! I didn't realize how much I weighed! The hardest thing for me is that when someone knows how much I weigh, the don't believe me. I must hide it very well, which I guess is good. It's just a let down when I get on the scale. Oh well - I am making myself get over it and am going to get back on track right now! I got on the treadmill for 45 mins when I got home tonight and did 3.5 miles...good start!! I am going to make myself continue!

Shrinkinglizzy: Wow! that is so awesome that you reached your goal...and even below it! Believe it girl! you worked hard for it. Are you going to just maintain now or are you going to set a new goal?
Suite: Awesome job on getting back on track...I know that can be really hard as I have done it MANY times...and I really need to try that TurboJam! Allie: Great job on the workout! Honestly, that is a really good workout! -Well today is day one of no sugar for me! So far so good. I worked out a little bit today with some DVD's. Not much has been going on. I just realized today how much homework I have due for my next grad school class. It is due in a week and I didn't even realize it! So I will start that! I also set a mini goal for myself. I want to lose 10 pounds by December 31st. Do you guys think that is reasonable? Or am I setting myself up for disappointment? I want to weigh 210 by then |
vday -- 10 by the 31st? I think doable but challenging. But definitely doable!!
alliez -- so great that you did that 45 min on the TM!! That is exactly the attitude that'll help you shed your well-hidden pounds. me4life -- ok, i can see how those posts about "blue" were confusing. The deal is that Faerie (typically a very steady poster) is getting married this weekend, so that was why I said she has a good reason not to be posting. The "blue" thing has nothing to do with that, I was referring to a challenge thread that is based off of The Biggest Loser, a show on NBC, where we are assigned to the Red Team (like me, GO RED!!) or the Blue Team, like SuiteJudy, Faerie, and Manick, all of whom are usually regular posters around here. I hadn't realized that all of them were participating in the challenge and that they were all on the team opposing mine, so that's why I commented on it. Make sense? Totally confusing, I know, and funny how things can get so miscommunicated in posts!! Here is a link to TBL boards, in case you're interested in participating next time around: http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=184 I'm off to have some tea and go to bed. Yoga tomorrow!!! |
Good morning ladies :) Well I thought I was over the morning sickness - I was wrong! I felt really nauseous for the past few days. To top it off, DH has been finishing painting the kitchen and the smell of the paint makes me feel like I want to vomit! He says he can't even smell it and he doesn't understand why I'm so sensitive to the smell. My reply? "Um... I'm pregnant. Thats what pregnancy does!"
The worst is that he's going to finish painting at night this week and since its colder at night he tends to shut the windows when he is doing it. Very bad for me! I keep telling him he needs to have a lot of ventilation because paint fumes are not good for the baby. My weekend was interesting. DH's car broke down an hour away from the house and wouldn't run at all. We had to have it towed to the nearest shop. Turns out that the belts he had replaced two weeks ago were improperly installed (we paid $850 to replace them two weeks ago, and $700 over the weekend to fix the problem). At least that service department wrote something up stating that. He is supposed to go to the dealership that replaced them the first time today and get them to pay for the repair we had done this weekend. Ugh... too much work to do today. I want to be at home sleeping! |
Mod -- ugh, what a pain! Sorry to hear about the morning sickness. Aren't men weird? I mean, I know about the pregnancy smells just from watching TV -- what has your husband been watching while I've been learning from sitcoms?
Anyway, I gotta get moving on the day. S |
Okay - so far so good today! I have 15 points left for dinner tonight!!! I plan on treadmill after school tonight and we start our winter volleyball league tonight so lots of activity! Hope everyone else is having a great day! With all the baby talk ----my sister just found out she is expecting in May! I am very excited!

hey all i was really wanting cabbage soup today so i tried the 0 pt veggie soup and added extra cabbage...not bad. but then i had and apple and pb for snack (i luuuuuuuuuuuuv pb) it is so hard to only have one serving of pb.
|
Vday- You made much sense. Thanks for the reply. Turbo Jam is really fun and motivating. Sometimes I just gotta get motivated to get motivated. I also overeat for tast only and I must get away from that. V I am totally addicted to sugar also. I love it expecially cereal. So I am with you on the No sugar for 3 or 4 days. We are in it together.;) Also your 10 pound goal is so doable. My monthly goal is 10 pounds a month. I'll you know after tomorrow what I have left for this month. Last month I lost one pound over.
Lizzy- OMG get it together. You are amazing and just accept that you wear a 4 or less at the GAP......HEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLOOOOO> KimL1214 - OMG I forgot about 100 CAL PAKS. Not sure how I forgot about them :dizzy: but they kept me on track. Thanks chica. Alliez- Good Job on the workout. I usually walk 3.5 miles 3 X's a week but my activity buddy has been out of town so it was an excuse for me to slack off. Mod- Sorry about your car troubles that always sucks. I just clicked on your progress pictures and Holy Canoodles you look wonderful. When is your baby due? So as you read above I slacked off with no buddy. I did manage to do Turbo Jam Friday and Sunday (Cardio Party). So that was twice this week (my week starts on Fridays cause I weigh on Thurs) and I plan on trying to do something tomorrow morning before work. As far as points goes I totally screwed myself. I got home a little early and got a little bored inbetween dinner so I had a 5 pt bowl of cereal (incl milk). Well I only came home with 10 pts because I had a big breakfast. So that left me 5 pts at 4:30 in the day. I had a 1/2 a 5pt sandwich so that left me 2.5 pts. I took a nap at 7 and just woke up. I figured if I slept a little I could waste time and not eat. So now that I am awake I will spend my last points on a banana and go back to sleep. Since I didn't exercise today I have no extra pts and I don't like to use more than 20 FP a week. Whew that was long. Thanks for listening........ |
I knew it was too good to be true...
Yup, friends, it was a busted scale. A suddenly busted scale. You all know I had my doubts, and now they are confirmed. My roommate told me last night that she, too, mysteriously dropped 6 lbs! So I went and picked up my old scale from my old apt, and it's reading 130, which is still a loss and I'll take it!
You know, thinking about it, I knew the 125 wasn't right because 5 lbs SHOWS on my body, and makes a huge difference in how clothes fit this 5' 2" frame. And while all of my clothes are a bit loose, it wasn't like I would expect after reaching goal. I'm almost relieved, since I couldn't imagine that this was it!! This whole little adventure HAS been quite motivating, though, I must say! Still haven't broken into the 120s as I wanted, but that's OK. Maybe by next week!! S |
So the dealership that installed the car stuff wrong paid us 100% for the repairs we had made. I was very happy.
I'm going up to a friends' house this weekend in NH. She has 3 boys, and while they are not my nephews by blood, I still call them my nephews. I adore them all and can't wait to see them! We are going to go through her maternity clothes and baby clothes. I think I'm going to come home with LOTS of stuff! She only has boys, so I'll have lots of boy stuff. But with her first she didn't find out the sex, so I think she has SOME gender neutral stuff. I'll find out soon. Also, I have an appointment today with the hematologist/oncologist. I will also have blood drawn for my remission test :crossed: and on Tuesday I will have my next ultrasound. Can't wait to hear that heartbeat again! alliez - I am expecting in May too! :) CakeBatter - Aww shucks, thanks! I am due May 1st. I can't wait! lizzy - 130 is REALLY close to the 120's, don't give up! |
mod -- of course I'm not giving up!! And good luck with the doctor's appt. I'll be thinking of you with :crossed:

I'm down another 2.8 as of meeting last night... They gave out some trial packs of the garlic parm pretzels... they're amazing!!! Had to buy some before I left meeting. Too bad they charge so much for food at the meetings, although I guess it's worth it...
