Question Question about the Wendie Plan

Hi everyone! I just completed my first week at WW! I lost 5.4 lbs which I know is not to be expected in the coming weeks, but I am still very excited.

I just had a question about the Wendie plan. The "high-point" day freaks me out a little, to be honest! Currently, I am trying not to use those extra 35 flex points (is that wrong)? Also, should I implement the Wendie plan NOW, or when my weight starts to plateau and the numbers aren't coming off the scale? Thank you so much for your help in advance!

Hi, I dont know much about the Wendie Plan but I personally lose more weight if I use all or most of my 35 flex points.
Last week, I used all of them and lost 1.8....
Congrats on your 5.4 loss!!

Congrats on your 1.8 and thanks for the advice! if you don't mind me asking, how long have you been using WW? I know the first two weeks you lose more than usual, and I'm just getting nervous for the week where I lose a half pound or less! I want to lose at least 1 pound a week (preferably two) and I want to keep that pleateau AWAY! Maybe I should start using those flex points...

Do you use them all one one day/meal as a splurge, or do you use a little here and there? Thanks, and congrats, again!

Hi again!!
I have been on WW since Feb, its been a slow weight loss but I read that is when you tend to keep it off more.
I spread my 35 flex points thru out the week, not all on one day. If I am hungry, and used up all my points, I'll eat something and use my flex points.

Been on WW since April - lost 48 lbs so far with 64 more to go. Haven't really hit a plateau yet, but probably will. When I do, I am going to go into a maintenance mode and try to keep myself at a plateau and then re-energize myself after so long. I don't want to fight my body or stress out for my losses and if my body wants to stay at a certain weight for a while, I am ok with that. It doesn't mean that I am giving up on losing weight, it just means that I understand that this is a process that I have or will go through that is temporary. Besides, I look at it as good practice for when I finally attain my goal and need to maintain then.

About the 35 flex points - It depends on my week. I usually end up using them when we go out to dinner on Saturday to our favorite Mexican restaurant. I use all of my extra 35 points each week. I still lose 1-2 lbs so why not?

The Wendie Plan - I think it is a good way to break out of a rut. There are a few people here who have used it and it has worked for them. Read up on the thread, I think it is a sticky.
