Where in the supermarket are you finding the LF tortillas? I have looked all over and either our WalMart doesn't have them, or I am looking in the wrong place. I have been using the regular kind, so the points are a little higher. I would like to keep having the banana wrap, but as I lose and have to lower my points, I am afraid that I will have to change that.
I can't find 1 pt. tortillas easily. It's easier for me to look for whole grain/whole wheat ones that work out to 2 pts. I think I saw WW brand somewhere, but now I'm not sure.
1/2 banana is only 1 point. So if you can find a 2 pt tortilla, you can slice up the 1/2 banana on the PB and then roll the wrap up.
It reminds me of PB&B sandwiches, which I love. You could use 1 pt bread, 2 pts worth of PB, and 1/2 banana sliced up, which is 1 pt. 4 pts on the sandwich, then add on 1 cup of skim or 1% milk for another 2 points.
There are a couple different brands to look for. I agree, they can be ridiculously difficult to locate. La Tortilla Factory makes some, Flat Out makes some, and I don't know the brand of the ones I have right now but they say something about being Low-Carb promenently on the package. These are the only ones I can find at my regular Kroger, i have to go elsewhere to hunt down the others. I actually ordered Flat Outs from their website once (got like 8 packages at once) because I couldn't find them anymore.
That pb and banana wrap sounds yummy! I'll have to try that.
I'm addicted to the pre-packed servings of plain oatmeal, I just use splenda, cinnamon and a dash of salt in fat free soy milk... only takes a minute in the micowave. It's my favorite breakfast ever... next to eggs florentine on my cheat days hmmmmm! But, even then sometimes I still prefer my oatmeal... it keeps me satisfied for a few hours.
