i specifically warned everyone not to get me candy for valentine's! lol

i was at the store yesterday about to buy easter candy for my 5 year old, then realized i couldn't handle having candy sitting around the house until easter! ugh. i'll be ok once i give it to him, cuz then i convince myself i shouldn't eat my son's candy. plus, i don't dare buy him any of my most favorite candy. i hate peeps and he loves them, so it'll work out. lol

So I was with a friend last night who went and bought bags of easter candy (for herself), and I caved and bought one of those little bags of cadbury mini eggs. I took it home only to discover the whole thing -- less than a bag of M&Ms -- had 8 points! I was pretty shocked. How can they pack so much evil into such a tiny space?? Good thing I found this out before I ate the whole little bag

I just found the best treat ever!

Walmart carries Sugar Free Peeps! They come in a pack of three for .96 cents so they are more expensive than the regular peeps but they are also a little bigger too. Splenda is used as the sweetener and they are fabulous! They taste a tiny bit different than what I remember a normal peep tasting like, but they are still yummo! The package of 3 peeps has only [B]60 calories! [B]

I am so glad I found these. I can still feel like I'm taking part in one of those childhood memories of Easter and it only costs one point. The good thing is, any more than 3 and I'd be sick to my stomach anyway

tukogirl- Thanks for the info! That's great news! I'm definately going to have to get me some of those s/f peeps.

Now if they'd just make s/f malted milk eggs. I have to confess...They are my nemesis. I caved and bought some last Friday. The bag didn't make it past the day Yeppers, by Friday night the whole cotton pickin' thing was gone. I managed to use several flex points to accomplish this feat also. All of the candy is now gone and my guilt is behind me. I've been back on track ever since. I can guarantee that I will not make that mistake again for at least this Easter season!
