Yeah, you know I think you should tell those guys who "bumped down" your miles on the treadmill that you lost that much. I would wanna see their looks- I would say "50 lbs! Treadmill or running on ground, I don't care cause its 50 lbs!!!!"

That's excellent! You should be proud of yourself. I'm sure you'll reach your birthday goal. Nothing like losing weight to keep you inspired.

Congrats!

Congrats! That's absolutely wonderful news. I'm in the starting process, and that has to be one of the hardest things to do. I have to lower my cholesterol too, and that's a real pain in the rear. Congrats again....I'm truly inspired!

Congrats to you. Maybe mini goals are the way to go huh?

Did you find that you stayed more motivated by having a mini goal than just saying that you wanted to lose all your weight without setting a specific timeframe?

Mini goals is one thing that really has helped me. It just seems like way to much to say I want to lose 80 pounds! 50 is even alot for most people but I started with a co-worker and we both wanted to lose 50 pounds by this summer. Well she gave up about 3 weeks later and here I am. Haha...she's alittle upset at herself for giving up. But what can I say?!?! : )
