I was starting this thread thinking of doing this by the end of this month only, but I think this may be a good goal for the remaining months of this year--so let's see how it goes!
Starting weight for this challenge: 343 lbs
  • MAY EOM- 340
  • JUNE EOM- 327
  • JULY EOM-

  • SEPTEMBER EOM-
  • OCTOBER EOM-

So that would be -160lbs Can I do it? If I get to 199 by the end of the year I will be more than happy! (that is the original goal I set for myself this year} I have some clothes I bought years ago as a goal when I lost 80+ lbs. I would love to fit in them.

Adult Body Mass Index

BMI is a person’s weight in kilograms divided by the square of height in meters. A high BMI can indicate high body fatness.

To calculate BMI, see the Adult BMI Calculator or determine BMI by finding your height and weight in this BMI Index Chart.
  • If your BMI is less than 18.5, it falls within the underweight range.
  • If your BMI is 18.5 to <25, it falls within the healthy weight range.
  • If your BMI is 25.0 to <30, it falls within the overweight range.
  • If your BMI is 30.0 or higher, it falls within the obesity range.
Obesity is frequently subdivided into categories:
  • Class 1: BMI of 30 to < 35
  • Class 2: BMI of 35 to < 40
  • Class 3: BMI of 40 or higher. Class 3 obesity is sometimes categorized as “severe” obesity.
Adult Body Mass Index

Let me do those weight ranges for myself:
  • BMI is less than 18.5: Below 110 lbs. underweight range.
  • BMI is 18.5 to <25: 110 - below 145 lbs. healthy weight range.
  • BMI is 25.0 to <30: 145 - below 174 lbs. overweight range.
  • BMI is 30.0 or higher: >174 lbs. obesity range.
Obesity
  • Class 1: BMI of 30 to < 35:174-204 lbs.
  • Class 2: BMI of 35 to < 40: 204-232 lbs.
  • Class 3: BMI of 40 or higher: 232lbs. +
WOW so if I can do this I will be just 10lbs away from beating obesity at the end of the year!

Here is the BMI table I used if you want to do this chart for yourself :
