Default Down 7 lbs this week!

I've been having a really tough time of it lately. Back on October 11th I weighed in at 167 lbs, and I was so so excited. And....then I binged for like a month straight. I was up to 180 lbs a couple of weeks ago when I started counting calories. Last week I lost one pound, and then this week I lost 7!

I would say that maybe I'm not eating enough and losing too fast, but here are my calorie counts for the week:
Saturday: 2350
Sunday: 1840
Monday: 2525 (gym day)
Tuesday: 2000
Wednesday: 1905
Thursday: no counting, but moderation at two Thanksgiving dinners (plus the gym)
Friday: 1810

My plan right now is going to the gym when I feel like I need to find my "happy spot" and eating no fewer than 1800 and no more than 2500 calories each day.

I'm just SO SO stoked that this is working for me and keeping me from bingeing!

wow, that's a ton to lose in one week. Just make sure you're mentally prepared for the possibility that you might go back up a little bit this week. Then again, since you just re-started your diet after eating a lot for a month, it might not go back up. Congrats!

Thanks guys! It's so nice to have someone to tell about this kind of stuff

Rubbytummy--thanks! It's totally my Myspace picture too because it's my favorite pic of myself. And it's so nice to actually have a picture I like!

Kelly 315--Yeah I bet that I at least won't lose any weight this coming week, even if I'm perfectly OP. I'm cool with that. I'll definitely be keeping ya'll updated.

Default weight loss is not for sissies.

I also have issues with weight loss. I joined metabolic research center the end of October. So far I have lost ten pounds. I cannot say this was easy. Yes, I know I was losing weight because of eating less, but God is this harder than it sounds. Yes, I am always looking for that "magic pill" to help me eat what I want but I doubt it will work. It is also hard to veiw food as only fuel, since so many foods taste so good. I know I cannot give up and must continue, but IT IS HARD. I also started woeking out a few days a week with a friend, just because I enjoy her company and it is free for me. Currently, I am 149 pounds and barely 5 foot 3 inches. How do the movie starts do it?
To all ladies out there in the same situation. Thanks for your encouraging posts. This is a big help for me when I want to quit!!
