Default a week full of NSVs!

This week has been an incredible one for NSVs -- just what I needed after I got a little lazy and let my weight creep up a few pounds (whoops! at least they're gone now!)

On Wednesday I went shopping at Old Navy and bought a beautiful pair of jeans in a SIZE 14! This from the girl who was barely a size 18 only three months ago. And in their tops, I'm down from bursting out of an XL to comfortably fitting a Large! I took a good long (naked) look in the mirror and realized to my shock that it was because MY BACK FAT IS GONE! I've been so used to seeing the double roll of back bacon every single morning -- it's the thing that made me take the plunge into losing weight, because it was so nauseating. And it's gone now! (I still have quite a bit of pudge, don't get me wrong, but now there's a uniform layer on my back, instead of those huuuge sticky-outy jelly rolls.)

Also, bf and I are staying in a hotel for Thanksgiving holiday, and after dinner last night my mom sent me home with a corned beef sandwich and a huge chocolate chip cookie for the hotel mini-fridge. I woke up this morning hungry for breakfast and I didn't even consider the sandwich and cookie, didn't think twice about them -- instead I walked a mile to Whole Foods to buy my Kashi, soy milk, and a container of mango!

Chicks, a few short months ago I would have woken up and eaten that cookie before I was even fully awake (if it even lasted 'til morning!) then bought a half-pound container of twizzlers from the hotel gift shop and guzzled them and hidden the wrappers from my boyfriend! It feels amazing to be winning the battle against food compulsion!

Congrats!

Mango is soooo yummy, isn't it? Better than cookies in my opinion!

Wow wow wow! Seriously--you go girl.

As tough as this journey is, these moments are the ones that make it all worth it. I am so happy for you!

And isn't it neat that your breakfast sounds so yummy, instead of like something you *should* do?
