Howdy all, I posted a little over three weeks back to introduce myself. I haven't been online since because I'm in school and working full time, so I've actually not realized it's been that long. I promise to do better. Anyhow, my second post here is to restate my mini-goal: I will get rid of 13 lbs. of fat by Halloween! I have lost 3 pounds in these three weeks. I am not doing as much exercise as I'd like and I am struggling to eat good foods in a world where cake seems omnipresent. I manage to eat well one day and blow it the next. I just keep trying again, hoping that it will eventually stick. 1 lb a week lost, though! Not bad! I may not make the 13 by Halloween at this rate, but according to my math...I could get close. Maybe if I ramp up the exercise I'll make the 13. Soda and sweets are my downfall as usual. Last week, I substituted unsweetened tea for the soda. Seems to help.

PS to the person who PM'd me, I can't PM back till I've had 10 posts. I'm not ignoring you, I promise. I'll try to post more. I like reading other people's stories for inspiration but don't have much to say myself, except for these updates. I'll try to be less shy, or a least update more often, lol!
