Hello all! I lost 2 more for 18 pounds or so. I weighed on the Tanita and found that my lowest weight (20% fat) is 157. So my new goal is 170. I am pretty built under all this fat. I just worked out for 45 minutes with advanced Tae Bo!! And I didn't feel like I was going to hurl! Yay!!

When I crave chocolate and peanut butter I eat a chocolate peanut butter meal replacement bar. The chocolate caramel ones are great too.

Back to the corti trim discussion. I was measured today and I have lost 4 inches on my belly (23 and 1/2 over my whole body!) Maybe the corti trim works after all.....

Jilldoll - I don't understand your question.

Missysmom - your neck and my feet should team up! What a skinny, wacky pair!

I just saw someone who hasn't seen me since I gained all this weight. I was the big (BIG) elephant in the room. It made me feel weird that I've lost almost 20 pounds, but she was still looking at me saying "Whew! Michelle has let herself GO!!" But my wonderful friends at work are all commenting on my losses and encouraging me. Finally people have stopped offering me donuts and candy. 4 more days of school - I can do this.

Great job everyone!!!

Jonsmom, what a way to start.

Michelle, You WERE the slow looser but look at the pay off now!!!

Zimmer, way to handle temptation. I'm so glad school is over too. My daughter had a party where all the kids made plates for the kids. She brought me a plate with all fruit! She said she was helping with my health and would only eat fruit too!!! I have to say, my kids have been great. They are happy with a big bowl of pineapple or cantelope. This has been good for us all.

Woo! I weighed in today and I'm now down a total of 5 pounds in less than a week! I guess those giant salads are paying off! (And it's even lady time!)

My boyfriend is out of town for the summer, but every time I talk to him about this diet he seems excited that maybe when he comes back, we won't eat out every day. So I guess there are more benefits than I initially thought.

This Saturday my center is having an event called "bark in the park" where we all bring our dogs and walk around and have doggie contests. I'm really excited! Do all the centers have fun little events like this?

Michelle and All:
The cancer doctor says he does not believe the mass is cancer, but it needs to be removed. It is pressing her bladder and eventually will cause more problems. We go back in 2-3 weeks after she has had EKG, etc. and then we will schedule the surgery. She will need 1-3 months for recovery. I am so happy and my mom is relieved. We will stall on selling her house until September, or so when she has fully recovered. Thank you all for the encouragement and prayers.

I wi today and had only lost 1.6 lbs. My scaled showed that I had lost more:-(. BUT, I believe next week I my loss # will be larger. That is the way it seems to go: small loss, big loss, small loss, big loss, etc.

I have A LOT of belly fat. I have an incision all the way down the middle of my abdomen where they removed my colon. My belly is "uneven"; left side bulges out more than the right side. I have noticed a difference since starting Cort-Trim. I also have been under a lot of family stress and I believe the Cort-Trim has helped me deal with the problems without increasing my belly.

I am increasing the Cort-trim to 2 in morning and 2 at night. I take 2 MRC6 at every meal. I am increasing my Flax Oil to 3 every night. I also take multi-vitamin, B-Complex and the liquid minerals.

i am so happy to hear that you heard from you hubby now i know you will be right on. i still have not heard from mine and the stress is killing my diet. i have no appetite which you would think is good but it throughs my body into starvation mode.
onto the TOM subject i gain at least 3 lbs when he is here. my consultant told me to take an extra b6 at that time because its a natural diuretic and it will help with the bloating.
i never thought of trying the drinks with diet rite hmmmmm may have 2 see what that is like. i do the fruit combo at lunch everyday though. love that treat.
spaghetti squash is good just takes so long to bake i tend to get lazy when i am the only one eating this way. lol
have a great weekend all.

Skinnyme-There has been a HUGE sandstorm and folks are standed around the area and unable to get to the phones. Aaron had to get up at 5 am just to get a chance to call. He finally gave up on DSN and called with a calling card very short call. I know your DH will call soon as they are digging out and getting people moving again. Hope this helps.

Thank you for your kindness and I want to hear when he gets there too.

please know that we are all here for you when you are stressd as you are for us.

Default New to MRC

Hello ladies,
I am just starting MRC. I had preconditioning last week and lost 5lbs during that week and I'm now on day 2, so far so good. I was searching for recipes when i found you all here. I thought I'd get in on the conversation. My hubby is on the plan with me and my brother has already lost 65lbs and some friends at church have lots that and more (one of them even got a job at the center). Maybe I'm still in honeymoon stage, but I'm excited!
Just wanted to say hello...I need to get to work

You have had great success.....I will try the B6 during my TOM. I just got past mine and I gain 3 lbs as well. I am stuck at 10 lbs of loss. I have been on the diet since 4/13 and I go up and down...up 2 down 1 up 1 down 3 and so forth...seems frustrating. On the B6 you just take 1 extra a day? Anyway...good luck....and thanks for the encouraging post......

Welcome newbie. You need an easier name for us to write to you though. Can't remember all the letters

You'll get great support here. It's great to have all of the people around you who have lost with MRC. I have two tennis mates that have lost (50lbs and 30lbs). Seeing their success in the flesh is a real motivator.

Oh, I just got it. Heavenly music

kewlmom yes just one extra a day should really help plus i drink an 8 oz glass of warm water with 1/2 a lemon squeezed into it too. those should help with TOM.
