Default Journaling?

Hello! I'm new to 3FatChicks and new to MRC. I joined last night and have my food instruction class on Friday. I'm following the Pre-Conditioning menu and I am wondering if everyone tracks their food intake on the sheet provided or if you use a different form of journaling? I'm not really clicking with their form of tracking food.

I use a small notebook, for me it kind of helps me keep on track because I don't like to look back and see unhealthy things written in there. Also, it helps me to plan my meals beforehand. I didn't like their sheets either but I was filling them out at first, then I switched to this way which way helps me to feel more organized. They say it's ok to use whatever, just as long as you write it down for them. Good luck on your weight loss journey!!!

I use the Lose-It app on my phone. They would just scroll through the days at MRC.

Aw shucks, I use their food journals and love them. Keep it on my fridge and reference it often.

Find something you like and do it - studies are very consistent in that people who food journal (with each meal, not every day or two) lose more and maintain better than people who don't!

I use their food journals too and I bought a binder to keep them in so I can look back at my progress, also to remind myself of all the hard work I've done.

I use their forms and journal everything. I made a bunch of copies and put them in a binder. I add my weigh ins and measurements to it. Its just a good habit for me to journal. I love being able to look back.

I use their journals and Fitness Pal. I never thought about just letting them look at my phone. Good idea!
