Tried the brownie recipie and it was AWESOME! It tasted like brownies. . . I used the double-chocolate pudding and I forgot the sweetener packet and it was still amazing. The mix is pretty dry and 30 seconds was the perfect cooking time - I ate it warm and it was gooey - I have a new favorite!

I haven't noticed yet. Of course, I just bought new boxes and haven't tried most of the liquid ones yet. I did try the orange yesterday though and had no problems.

Thanks Junie...
They may be using another type of sweetener, that I am allergic to. Will have to look at ingredients..

Mariah..
Is this recipe in MRC Cookbook? I really would like to make something like that for a treat.

Thanks

Mariah-- My center started selling that chocolate stuff a couple months ago. Someone else mentioned, though, that it's going to be a limited-time product--they aren't always going to carry it.

I'm confused as to my latest measurements. When I went in Tuesday (and was up 1 lb, grrr), it was time for my monthly tanita and measurements. The tanita reading showed normal changes, but even though I'd lost close to 10 lbs in a month, for the first time my inches didn't change almost at all. Weird. Especially weird because my clothes have also gotten a little looser in the last month, too. I wondered if it might be because a different gal was measuring, but it's still weird.

Although, a lack of decresase in my bust may have been because I wasn't paying attention last time and was wearing a sports bra and this time I wasn't. But that doesn't explain the other parts of my body.

Patzi,

This has happened to me too. For the past month, after I take my first HNS of the day, I get diarrhea. I get it after the second one too and then I'm fine.

I'm also using the Proti-Diet brand which is the same as MRC except for the packaging.

It's very inconvenient and I didn't have this problem until recently.

I hope they don't discontinue concentrates--I'm willing to put up with this since it's helping me lose.

BTW, does anyone know at what weight you decrease your HNS from four to three a day?

Teacherlady is right. You can go down to 3 HNS a day on the green menu (200 lbs. & below), however, you can still safely do 4 supplements a day which is what I've been doing. At the top of the green sheet, it reads, "For best results, you may add as many as two extra high nutrient supplements each day for a total of 4 per day and up to three mixed fruit fiber plus beverages per day."

I'm no longer obese!!!!!!

It still seems surreal that technically, that's what I was. But according to my scale and the BMI calculator, this morning, my BMI is now 29.8.

I never thought I'd be so happy to be "overweight." ;)

That has to be an amazing feeling!! I'm technically morbidly obese.. so I guess I will be doing a jig when I become "obese". And then I'll do a Cha-Cha when I'm "overweight". :D

Keep up the great work!

I keep hearing all of you talking about the beige, green and blue menu and then there is a 2 meal plan. Would someone give me more details on this? I am confused. :?:

Here's what I have:

Yellow = Meta-Slim Days 1 - 4
Blue = Meta-Slim Days 5 - 10
Green = Meta-Slim (Days 11 & up)
Beige = Meta-Slim Plus (for clients 200 lbs. & up)
White = Meta-Quick (Plateau busting menu where you have a shake or meal replacement bar in place of breakfast & lunch)

Trying to plan ahead is SO hard!

I will be sitting at my booth Friday & Saturday from 10am-9pm. I probably won't have much relief tomorrow but Saturday my mom is going to come up for a while. Not sure how drinking all this water and going to the bathroom will work. I'm planning on making all my drinks and taking a bar for lunch and then something that won't have to be heated for dinner... just don't know what that's going to be. I'm going to make a shake, just in case, I don't have time to actually eat a meal.

This is an indoor/outdoor craft fair - I'm sure there will be food vendors.. so staying away from kettle corn and hot dogs will be challenging but I'm gonna do it!

When I have to go somewhere where I can't heat up my supper, I take a chicken sandwich with mustard. That's one meat that I don't mind eating cold, like deli meat. Of course, you can always do deli meat; my center told me it was okay as long as I didn't do it all the time because of the excess sodium.

Thanks for the info on the meal plans. One more question. The beige for people over 200 lbs. I am assuming you stay on that until you are under 200 lbs. Correct?

First day back totally OP. I have got to get over my temptations! It is so hard! AHHHHH! I've been going up which is definitely NOT the right direction!

I'm at the car place and there are bags of freebie chips--I won't eat it. I won't eat it. I'll take the apple instead!

Are you all as mentally insane as me when it comes to food?!!! Help!
