Thanks for all the information on this. My center recommened I take 9000mg a day (which is 9 times what the recommended does is on the bottle) and I thought, 'Really"? Regardless, I'm happy so far...I'm just beginning to think that one reason I'm not as hungry during the day as I anticipated is that I'm FULL ON PILLS!!!

9000mg of what? I'm glad you posted this on here because I didn't even see this discussion. I'm taking a Walgreen's Omega-3 Krill Oil. It's 300mg, Omega-3 Fatty Acids 90mg, EPA 45mg, DHA 27mg. Am I not taking enough?

I asked my center about this tonight and they said I should take 2 Krill Oils. Mine is close to theirs but a little less. And she also said I should have been taking 2 pills during the first month... had no idea! Guess I will start tomorrow with 2 Krill Oil pills.
Wait a minute? If you don't have enough oil, your hair falls out? Mine has been doing that! What is the amount we should have?! Is this always a normal thing that happens?
And yes - I had noticed my hair was falling out (more than normal).. but now that I'm taking 2 Krill each day, it has stopped. I still have the normal hair loss but not like what it was a week or two ago. My nails are also stronger than ever. I finally trimmed them this morning because they were like little daggers.
Hmmm. I've been taking 4800 mg of flaxseed oil every day, but my hair has been falling out quite a bit (I've always shedded a lot, but this is way more than usual).
My center said that I'm taking about the right amount (they recommend 5000 of flax), but maybe I should up it.
