Love it!

In terms of little things that keep me going, this week it's started getting cold and I've been putting on my BF's sweatshirts, jackets, warmer pants.. whatever.

Being smaller than him is a VERY BIG little thing for me

*unconsciously buying my "size" of tank top at the store...only to take it back when it was too big

*Anyone else's shoes getting a little loose? I think my ankles got smaller!

*Wearing pencil skirts because of the style, not to hide my pooch (though it is still there, its smaller)

*feeling satisfied after a meal and not stuffed

*wearing a belt because i have to

Being able to fit into a pair of shorts that were once too big

Putting on shirts that use to be fitted and now they are loose

Watching my weight steadily decrease

I have to jump in here - love reading everyones posts!!

I have lost almost 40 lbs since April...and I work at a school...we were off for the summer, and just started back a few weeks ago. It's so nice, almost every day someone comments on how good I look, etc...now, I still have a LOT to lose, but love the fact that people are noticing!

Yesterday a kindergartener walked up to me and said "How did you get skinny"...and I had to laugh, because I am far from skinny! But inside I was just smiling away!

I just lost a ring my husband bought me for my birthday last December! It slipped off my finger and I never even noticed it - I'm sad about the ring, but not about the reason it happened!

This thread is so encouraging. I'm only on week 2, so I don't notice any differences now. This makes me want to stay on plan so hopefully in the not to distant future I can have these awesome transformations too. Keep up the good work.

Being able to sleep without waking up gasping for breath
Being able to walk up to my 2nd story apartment without heavy breathing
Being able to slip on some size 16 jeans!! (Just happened)
Watching that clothing donation pile grow!
Getting down to the last size of clothes that I own that actually fit (a shopping spree is in my future!)
Being told that I am "awesome" when I do zumba

Default Crazy little thing

It is sort of a weird thing...I bought a BMW motorcycle two years ago, but I have been afraid/unwilling to ride it because I had to stand on the balls of my feet to balance it. My husband decided he'd ride it and call it his. I've continued to ride my low-slung cruiser. Hubby suggested that perhaps I try the BMW again, now that my butt and thighs are smaller, my feet can rest flat on the ground and I can start riding THAT bike! Who knew???

Yesterday I took a bike ride to the park with my two boys. When we got there I was sitting down on a low wall taking pictures with my cell phone of them playing. When I placed the cell phone on my lap it fell through to the ground. I did it again thinking I placed it wrong and it fell again! I looked down at my lap and there was a space between my thighs that did not meet. I have always had chunky/heavy thighs and never paid any mind to them getting that much smaller. When my hubby came to bring us some drinks I shared with him my discovery.... I was laughing out loud I was so happy.
