Default It’s the little things that keep you going…

I was thinking today about some of the little things about losing weight. It seems like those are the things that make me smile and help keep me motivated. I was wondering if anyone else has some little things they want to share.

For me, it’s things like:
*My rings are all too big now!
*Fitting in the seat of my car better
*Being able to scoot behind someone when I’m at a restaurant and not make them get up so I can get through.
*The look of surprise from a friend I saw today for the first time in a month.
*Being able to take a walk with my daughter and not get winded after 2 blocks.

I might have more, but those are the things I was thinking about today.

The little things for me have been:

·when I touch my neck and my clavicle sticks way out
·the pile of clothes that I'm building up that are now too large for me
·seeing the scale go down almost every single day
·crossing my legs without my knees getting sore
·knowing i haven't eaten a single "bad" food for 2 full months!

It really is the little things that keep you going. Mine are:

Rings are too big.. I've moved them over to new fingers, but now I'm running out of fingers..

Getting to buy smaller clothes. I've gone from a 28 down to a 22.. I'm looking forward to getting to shop in real stores. Not just the fat stores..

Getting rid of my fat clothes... I am determined I will not need them again.

Being able to run and chase my daughter and not pass out from lack of oxygen..

No longer having 10 chins in pictures.. I'm down to 2... :-)

Oh...so many of theses.

My ring doesn't fit...I can't wear it on any finger, so I've got it on a chain...or I wear a different ring. I've told hubby to buy me a new one...he's not as excited about that for some reason.

Sat in a chair that I could have before. Going to a baseball game tomorrow and I WANT to fit in that seat!! I might not yet, but it'll be closer

Next week I'm gonna see a friend that has seen pictures, but not the real me in 3 months (30lbs). She's gonna flip!! I'm pumped. Pray for me with her...she's a downer about her own weight, so my goal is to encourage her.

Realizing my chair hurts my butt because the layers of fat are melting away and I'm sitting on bones. There's still alot in the way there, but I feel that one alot.

Looking down in the car and seeing how far back I am from the steering wheel. I didn't move my seat at all and I LOVE seeing how far back I am from it. SO Awesome!

Ooh. I haven't had a ton of loss but I've lost a lot of water so my ring doesn't fit any more. I also can go down a band size in my bra (yay!!)

My rings getting too big is a little sad for me, a few of them are really sentimental for me, so I'm going to have to resize them once I'm at goal!

My bra not digging into my shoulders and sides, its an amazing feeling. I've got no idea what size I should be wearing now though.

I can feel and see my collar bones, they seem to get more prominant every week.

There is this odd, but awesome definition in my wrists now - I can feel and see the bones.

My pants don't dig into my stomach and pinch anymore!

Being able to slide into the booth in restaurants!!! (Im almost in tears)

I have to request a table instead of a booth!! Sometimes I get so emBARASSED! Today, without even thinking about it, I slid into a booth at Chilis. My husband instantly said, "Its the little things that makes a difference!!!"

I sat back in the stadium seat at the baseball game!!!! I told Hubby, and my sister and my mom (all of whom were with me). They were all excited for me. I was in there tight, but I did it!!! *little dance of joy* I would love to never have to worry about whether i can sit in a seat or not. I'm on my way.

Congrats! I can't imagine how liberating that must feel.
