Helen...how quickly you lose really depends on how much you have to lose and how many other times you've dieted. If you have alot of weight to lose (say over 100lbs) then the weight will melt off quicker. The closer you get to goal, it'll slow down a little bit.
If you've dieted several times in the past, especially recently your body won't react as quickly either because it'll kind of be used to your diet changing.
I've lost 45lbs since Halloween and last time I was OP I lost 90lbs in 9months...but I've got well over 100lbs to lose, so it's gonna come off a bit quicker.
Don't get discouraged. There's no way you won't lose weight if you stick to the plan
