Exclamation Valentine's Day Challenge - Week 1 - Post Your Successes Here!

Thought it might be easier to track our success on separate weekly threads? Feel free to join in and let us know how you're doing!

My goals were:

1. I will: Exercise at least 150 mins per week and do floor exercises daily.
Week1 - I am thrilled to report I did very well w/exercise this week - did daily floor exercises 5/6 days and have completed 130 mins on the treadmill!

2. I will: Limit sugar intake to as little as possible
Week 1 - I have been very diligent in limited my sugar intake - I believe the only sugar I have had is in the probiotic yogurt I am now eating! (does not come in plain/sf) and in cookie (see below)

3. I will: put only food of good nutritional value into my mouth!
Week 1 - Basically followed a healthy eating plan this week - I did eat one pillsbury snowman cookie baked by kiddies and some things were not necessarily core but were still okay to have (e.g bagel)

4: I will reach my Valentine's goal of 199 lbs by February 14, 2006 (25 pound loss)
Week 1 - This morning's weigh-in shows a loss of 6 lbs!!

Ummmmm......
I drank more water this week! - Weigh-in tomorrow, so we'll see about moving these 5 lbs.
Not much working out this week.... been feeling "blah"..... but I am putting this to "top priority" for next week!

I only exercised once this week. One more needed before Monday. I'm hopeful but am not going to risk more injury. Am eating Core as best I can and trying to limit my portions. I feel this is an accomplishment.

Well I was finally able to get on the scale today, its up 3 more pounds so that makes 5 pounds up for the month. Im sure it was up more during the holidays, and Im on my way back down again. My clothes felt like it. Been back OP felt good this week,,,,,,,my goal this challenge is to get these 5 pounds off and if they take some friends with it , that would be a bonus!

Planned menus and followed up on them. Looks like I finally shook up my weight loss a little and I'm down 1/2# for this half week. Good luck to us all.
Patti, I hear you. I gained a ton over the holidays where I usually haven't done that in the past. The good thing is we are in a new place in the new year and we can all do this!

i went back to ww wed and am drinking my water as well as exercising.

Ummm.............joined the gym and went 4 days last week. And that's about it. Scale shows the same this morning. Guess I'd better get OP so there's a loss for next week.

Lisa, sometimes that happens when you exercise that first week. You'll be ok. Keep drinking lots of water.

I joined that Presidential Challenge thing, and I exercised every single day last week! (Bizarre!!)

You only have to do 30 minutes 5 days a week to get your star, but once I started tracking it, I guess I got inspired or something. I haven't exercised seven days a week since I was in high school!
