Can we switch meals around? Lately I've really had to push myself to be able to finish lunch, yet shortly after dinner I'm starving. I think maybe eating lunch at dinner would help. Thanks!
I'm not any help but i really want to know the answer to this also. I feel like there is SO much food with my lunch.. I told the lady at my center i tend to eat my fruit a couple hours after lunch and she seemed upset by this..I keep telling them i cant force myself to eat so much
I've been told the menus are chemically balanced and that is what makes them work. I struggled many times to finish meals - feeling I just couldn't eat another bite (and in all honesty I didn't, it just seemed foolish to me), but I have kept to the basic plan as set up (no substitutions or switching).
I am on Meta Slim Plus 3 and you get 6oz of protein, 4oz cooked veggies, plus fruit and I am stuffed. My consultant was really upset that I wasn't eating all of my food and just like they told leigh34 the meals are to be eaten according to your plan as the chemical balance is correct to help you lose stored fat. It is really hard to make myself eat that much. Before lunch nd dinner I try not to have any water because I feel like I am going to bust.

Having 3 oz of cheese or 6 oz of cottage cheese is a lot less filling than 6 oz of other proteins. On the downside, I love hard cheese and they told me eating it everyday for lunch could slow down my weight loss.

I know, my consultant looked at me like I was crazy though. She was like in order to lose you have to eat the way we tell you. She was kinda rude about it come to think of it. I just do the best that I can. At my center the philosphy is that the food is good for you and then they go over the simple vs. complex carbs and how they break down. Although, I love how one of the consultants really shares alot of info to help you in your weight loss journey.

I was doing cheese with eggs at breakfast, then cheese with meat at lunch to cut back on the amount of meat..i cant have cheese with dinner but i can with my evening snack..so thats a lil odd...i never eat my snacks...and the Center told me i shouldnt do cheese with breakfast and lunch..which makes me wonder why its on the list for breakfast, lunch, and snacks..ahhh but i cut back on cheese to just breakfast most of the time..which now leaves me with alot of meat...who knew it could be so hard to eat meat

Have your cottage cheese with slice strawberries and some splenda. It's good with pineapple too and this doesn't seem like as much to eat as the 6 oz of meat. Eat cooked veggies instead of salads. That might help getting everything in too.

Thank you for the suggestion, but I can't fruit with my snacks. I can only have protein and that is why I am scared to eat the cottage cheese -plain just doesn't sound good!

I was eating eggs everyday for breakfast and one of the conselours told me to have cheese for breakfast to break things up a bit.. Then one told me not too eat so much cheese. I get confused. I think some of them just throw in their own opinions instead of what is what MRC designates..

One thing you may want to keep in mind, cheese is constipating.. I wouldn't eat too much of it.. I would only have hard cheese for one meal a day and not so much with the snacks. You can have cottage cheese with lunch and add your fruit at that meal to it. Or have it at breakfast with oatmeal and a HNS mixed into it.. I thought that would be awful but it is really good. You could also do cottage cheese and tomato since tomato is actually a fruit unless they don't want you to use it as a fruit only a veggie..

Which location do you go to, 120th & Blondo or Bellevue? Just curious! I sprinkle a little of the fiber fulfill on my cottage cheese once in a while.

I have talked to my center about being stuffed and it was kinda like "Oh well! You have to eat everything!" Hmmm...isn't that kinda what got me overweight in the first place...stuffing myself?! The reason I'm curious about switching meals is that during orientation there was a woman in the class who worked nights and they said that for certain people who worked the night shift like nurses they would allow them to switch their meals around.
