Hello all! I am just starting MRC and hope to make a big change. When I went to the doctor the other day, I stepped on the scale after having been on phentermine for a month only to gain 4 more lbs. So now, I am at the weight I was two years ago when I was nine months preggo with my daughter. I know this journey won't be easy, but it has to be done. I just want to be healthy for ME, and my family. I am a full time student, part time worker, mother and wife, and stress is a biggie for me, but I am hoping that exercise can help with that aspect. I just need to ditch the drive thru! I have tried lots of things in the past, weight watchers, counting calories, trim spa, you name it I've probably tried it.

I am looking forward to using this board as a support system, because I know I can't do it alone, and I know its ok to ask for help sometimes!

It is a good program and has proven to me to be the only one that works (for me). I know I would not be down 33 lbs with anything else (and haven't been). I like you had to take a look at myself when I was at my 9 month pregnancy weight - without being pregnant! I've been on program for 14 weeks and have 17 lbs left to go to reach my goal (well, my first goal anyway - babysteps!) Welcome aboard!!

You can do it! You took a huge step with just signing up. the program works great as long as you stick to it. Can't wait to hear how your first week weigh-in goes! Good luck and its great to have this forum for all of us. I know it feels go to have others that are struggling just as I am. I have at least 10 people that have been used the program and they look and feel great. WELCOME!

Welcome! I have been on MRC for 8 weeks now. I am newer to this forum, have only been here a couple weeks. From what I have seen so far though, everyone here is incredibly friendly and supportive! MRC certainly is not easy, but it is healthy and it works! So welcome, and good luck!

Welcome Welcome!! I'd say the most important thing when you're new is to ask lots of questions. Don't worry about it being a dumb one or TMI...we're good natured and ready to help all the newbies. We were all new once and those of us that didn't have 3FC to help wish we had.

Be sure to stop by on the hard days...support is sometimes the most helpful thing when you're feeling like eating that cookie.
