Merry Christmas everyone. Thought I would change my avatar and show you my grandpuppy that we are dog sitting along with two more of his brothers over the Holidays.

It has been quite a Christmas...the winter storm has kept family from driving in. My daughter was lucky to make it in from AZ, and she may not be leaving for awhile the way the roads look. Really didn't seem like Christmas without family here. We were lucky to have my MIL here though.

I'm not doing good at all with my diet...in fact....I have been off-plan now for the last 3 days...and I'm feeling it!!! Today I started back OP, but doesn't look like I can make it to the gym...so will have to blow the dust off one of my old videos and give that a try. I am quite disgusted with falling of the wagon, since I was one pound from signing the 40 Pound Board. Now I have to work mighty hard to get back to where I was before I WI Monday. It really wasn't worth it at all. Maybe if I wasn't snowed in, I would have been better...but now I have to look foward to the next 9 meals to get me back on track.

Hope you all enjoyed family over the Holidays and did much better than I did OP. I have missed you all.

Good Morning All - Hope everyone had a safe and Merry Christmas. We had a nice quiet day here in Colorado Springs. Just had a couple of friends over for a nice dinner and catching up on busy lives. I did pretty good on program - did have a couple of glasses of wine - was suprised at how quickly they affected me after not having any for the past few weeks!

Going in today for my WI. I think I will hit my 10 pound mark!

Have a great day!

Hello everyone! Just got back from WI and I've lost 11 pounds so far!

Fifties Lady - I know what you mean I have been off plan for two days and I can sure feel it too. I told myself I was going to be good and maybe just eat Christmas dinner with the family. Mother Nature got in the way though. We were without power Christmas Eve through this morning. I couldn't eat anything except salad and cheese and crackers which the crackers made me hungry so I ate a few cookies. I am back on plan today so far. Does it take nine meals to get back on track? What a cute puppy = what breed is it?

Leigh, I know...just eating the wrong foods really upset my stomach. We had oyster stew Christmas Eve, and that night, my stomach and acid reflex really gave me a time. I haven't had to deal with that since I started MRC. :( I didn't have candy or cookies, but some popcorn and all kinds of nuts were my downfall. Plus the portion size I hate for dinner was not good. Just totally messed myself up. I had heard it takes 9 OP meals if you cheat....so I have two down and a ways to go. I just hope I can lose everything before Monday that I gained, but it probably is unlikely.

My daughter's dog is a Malt-a-Pom. They have two of them and they are so adorable. Sounds like you have gotten alot of snow too. Wonderful Nebraska weather. Really messed up families getting together. Hope you had a nice time.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas! I sure did! I went to WI last Wed & I had lost 3.5 pounds! But did not do too good yesterday :( I am picking myself up & trying again! Good Luck everyone!!

I am just starting and the only dairy on my preconditioning menu is cheese/cottage cheese. I LOVE milk - is there a point where you can have that on your menu?

Anti Gluten Chick 12-27-2009 07:34 PM

PinkTiara22:: I asked my counselor the SAME QUESTION & she said that MILK SLOWS WEIGHT LOSS!! I was mad cause I love me some cereal :( So I think maybe that once we get to our goal we can have milk again?!?!?!?! Sorry that doesn't help much.

For those of you trying to get back on track after holiday enjoyment :) I would ask that we remember Denise's visual she has given us in the past ...

If you're driving down the interstate, you get lost or off track, just get off at the next exit and turn around, heading back to where you want to be ... yay!

Also, for those who order from diet direct, they have the powder drinks and crispy bars (I'm really fond of the cinnamon ones!) on sale this week.

Well hello Karen...oh how I have missed you. I was so wondering how your pregnancy has been going. Sounds like you are doing ok weight wise....good for you. :carrot:

Many of the regulars have not posted in sometime??? I miss them all. I hope after the new year, they will all come back and start posting again.

Thanks for the encouragement...you were always so good at doing that. I wanted so much to sign that 40 pound board last week, but now since I fell off the wagon over Christmas, I have a ways to go before I can do it at year's end....and I am trying like heck!! :dizzy:

You take care now and don't be a stranger. Keep us posted on you and your baby and let us know how you are doing. Happy New Year!!

I'm back.... Wow, what a Christmas Holiday!! I totally went off plan, however still did MUCH MUCH better than I would of without MRC! I did not lose as much, but I still lost and am very happy with the results. I was back on program on the 27th. FL...I had oyster stew on Christmas Eve too, it's an old family tradition. It's made with half/half + whole milk. I could only eat a little of it and had the same reaction afterwards. I learned a lot being off program. I could not eat as much, I felt icky after 2 days of eating off program, and I did crave more carbs. Huge learning experience and wake up call for how healthy eating OP is. I really appreciate all the info. I am learning from you all and MRC. Although it is tough at times to stay OP, it sure is worth it!! Oh, another thing...my bank account sure is feeling it too - geez louizzzze!
New Years Resolution =
**Stay OP and keep losing (looking forward to getting in the 180's soon)
**Solid exercise routine
**Spend less money (please keep posting all the tips and deals)

I want to wish everyone a Happy Holidays and New Year!! Here's raising my grape HSN wine glass to our continued weight loss and health!!! :)
