Hello, I am brand new to MRC and looking for all the support I can get! I am very unsure about how to do this blog, so please be paitient.
What were your first weigh in experiences like? did you lose alot? or just a little? I lost 2.5 lbs in preconditioning, and then started the program on Saturday, and by monday night, I'd lost another 6.5 lbs.....I know this won't continue....so I'm a little nervous about that. I think just cutting out so much diet soda from my daily menu has really contributed to my weightloss...
I just answered a post like this in MRC - take 34 thread. I lost a lot of weight the first few days and then plateaued for 10. You will plateau but stick with it and you'll start losing again. Everyone is different on how much you lose and how quickly but everyone plateaus and then starts losing again. The most important thing is to stick with the diet.
I'm new here and love all the support everyone seems to be getting. I did MRC several years ago in CO and lost 45 lbs. I had a baby a few months ago and I really want to get back on plan but, I live in NC and there isn't a center here. I have the shakes and the Meta-Slim plan However, I don't have the Pre-Conditioning menu. Can anyone send it to me? I would be very, very appreciative. [email protected]
Is pre-conditioning the time period in which you first enroll but before you get your first Friday meal plan?
I fear I won't do well because I only have three days before I officially start.
Yep, that's it. You're just supposed to wean yourself off caffeine, sugar etc. so it's not cold turkey when you start on your real menu.
I started cond. on a Tuesday and had my class that Friday. I don't think it matters for weight loss it's just to help ease your body off the bad stuff so you don't get headaches, etc.
Well, I was a little disappointed yesterday. I went in for my weekly weigh-in, and I had only lost 1/2 a pound. I know I shouldn't get down about it, and I knew I'd slow down a bit after such a successful start, but I'm just a little blue. I know I just have to stick with it...and I have, I still haven't slacked off and I'm following everything to the letter....technically, I'm on day 10 of my meal plan and I've lost 11.5 lbs...so I'm just trying to focus on that.

Shan2009 You and I are just about the same size--- just started 8 days ago and without preconditioning, I lost 10.5 lbs in 5 days, and I haven't gone for a WI since Saturday and I've been weighing myself at home and I don't seem to have lost but maybe one lb. since then...I too am trying to look a the bright side...we are so early in the game and need to keep up our positive thoughts and stay on program.
Maybe we can be support buddies since we seem to in the same situation with timing, etc.
Hey Southern Girl,
OK so I'm going to level with you. As far as supplements, that is completely up to you - check out the many posts on this on other parts of this site. Some go for it all MRC-6, Cortitrim, Flax, B6 & B12, Internal Cleanser, Enhancer, Phentatrim etc.
Karen1234...
Your post was so informative...I have been reading these threads for hours and I have been looking for the information specifically for the substitutes for the supplements...I had figured the Corti-trim was similar to Corti-slim, but was wondering if you knew the rest...or at least where I can find it on this site...specifically the MRC-6, Phenatrim, Phentrim, Internal Cleaners....

Don't get discouraged.....I was told when I joined that almost everyone hits a plateau somewhere around 10 lbs. or 10 days. It stinks that early on but it's just our body's way of dealing with the sudden changes with weight, food, etc. Hang in there and you will lose! You're both doing great!!
I'm looking for anyone that has recentaly joined a MRC. Someone that we can share our journey together and give advice. My weight is 273/257/150. I just started so I have a LONG ways to go. But that first step has to be made to begin the journey. Let me know if you would like to chat!
Hi! I just started tonight and have about 60 pounds to lose, I need all the support I can get if you are still looking for a chat buddy!
