Hi, sorry to hear you are having problems. It's hard to give advice without knowing you/him in more detail. If there was a "one answer fits all" solution, it would probably be written in stone somewhere.
Not likely, he may be questioning his value as a man at this point (just guessing). Depression requires professional help. Just reassure him that you love him.
