Question Before I commit.....

I have been researching Medifast this evening, and have one major question based on my experience with Nutrisystem. The Nutrisystem food just did not agree with me; I ended up going on Prilosec because of it. Nutrisystem did offer to take my unused food back, so I am not complaining about the company, just the food! Can anyone out there relate to and address this?

Thanking you in advance!

I've done nutrisystems in the past. I can tell you that medifast food is very different. Neither caused me problems so I don't know if one is better than the other in that respect. I think if you found a health coach or medifast center in your area you could try a shake before ordering and make sure it does not make you ill. For me personally medifast is much better than nutrisystems. I like the taste better and feel less hungry on fewer calories.

I'm in too. I've made it from size 18 to 14. I bought a new coat when I reached 14, I didn't really need it, but it was on sale and liked the way I look in it!! I'll have to think of a really nice reward when I get to size 12.

Thanks all, I need to see every one's success.

Hi Sue,

I've tried both; I'm currently on Medifast. I've tried NS, Jenny Craig, yada yada yada. MF is the only thing that works for me.

I had awful stomach problems on NS. My dr told me some people are more sensitive to sugar alcohols than others. It was the sugar alcohols that did me in.

HTH!

My goal is to get to my college weight again (laughter ensues), but I think I can do it! Or at least get close :-)

Oh, TXNana, I love the Mable comment. Too funny! I'm in for the 10 in 2010! I have 60 to lose, and have loved Medifast so far

TxNana...I love the Mable idea. I am now going to have to come up with a name for my extra body weight that could make another person. I had a friend that called her stomach Fred, because he talked to her so much.
I just started MediFast, this is day 3. Doing ok on the "honeymoon" part of the program.

Hey Y'all!

I just found this and would love to participate! Just started losing this month, am down about 20 lbs and my goal size is 10!

My reasons:
1. My hubby: He always says how beautiful I am, but I know he would love to see me slimmer and healthier.
2. My attitude: I would be so much happier if I looked better and was not embarrassed to meet new people.

My Rewards:
1. New clothes that actually fit my personality/body
2. Trip to Puerto Vallarta Mexico with the hubs!

For every 5 lbs lost
had to take one off - that’s disappointing

Mini Goal 1: 199 - 6lbs to go
Mini Goal 2: 185 - 20lbs to go - Memorial Day Challenge
Mini Goal 3: 175 - 30lbs to go
Mini Goal 4: 160 - 45lbs to go
Unrealistic Goal?? 155 - 50lbs to go

Default Just getting started!

Hi all! I just started Medifast on Monday so I'm a newbie...but count me in! I think I'm aiming for about a size 8. I'm currently all over the place in terms of size, so I wouldn't even know what to say my starting size is lol, I guess somewhere between 12-16! Good luck to all!
