Thank you all so much for the kind words. Not sure why just followed it exactly - through all holidays, bdays, SuperBowl etc
Still always a struggle day and day out - lots of stresses now but trying to take care of me You all have helped immensely even though I don't post a lot - I do lurk

Thank you!

Default 30 free try

I was wondering if you could help me. I tried to sign on for the free trial but it says it will charge my credit card. How do you get the free trial or where could I find out a list of foods to eat. Thank you so much.

We got hit with snow today. It was snowing when I woke up and it still hasn't stopped. There has to be at least 8 inches so far. I don't think I will ever get used to this type of weather though no matter how pretty it looks! It certainly gives my kids an excuse to play their Wii which is a highly addictive game system by the way. I hope everyone is doing well and has a great weekend.

Im pretty sure everyone has not so good days! Last week I had 3 off plan days. Just remember that its ok, as long as you get back on the horse and don't give up.

Hey everyone!

I've stayed OP for 5 entire days and lost those pesky 6 pounds. All is good in the world!

Brooke, I get it. I wanted to quit after "only" losing 12 pounds too. BUT, I've tried everything else and it doesn't work for me. Plus, if I'm honest (and I'm so honest with ME) I have not followed the plan exactly. So I'm "stuck" with MF and I'm gonna try to work it more like SweetP. Good luck with your plan and DON'T LEAVE US!!!!

zeute, I fell off the plan and could NOT get back on to save my life! My coach and I PROMISED no matter what, we'd have 3 perfect days. That was just the momentum I needed to turn it into 5 perfect days. Now my goal is to be perfect until my baby's birthday in April (45 days). Can I do it? Probably not, but I'm gonna try.

So I'm still not working out. I am so anxious to get started. I'm going to spend 10 minutes a day on the eliptical. I don't think that counts as exercise to ANYone.

I had to make a road trip yesterday. 2ish hours to Jacksonville and 2ish hours back. Ugghhh! I planned my food and water carefully. I drank 50 ounces during the day and then I switched to soda so I wouldn't have to stop every hour. I only had to stop twice (hour 1 and hour 2). The small things make me so happy. Then I drank about 30ish ounces when I got home. I had my last meal at 8:30pm (steak and green beans). I was SURE that would mess with my loss, but this morning I was down 1/2 pound. YAY MF!!

I've got right back on both times and just put it behind me. I'm still working on the water thing.

Can you eat two of your meals at one time?

Sure, you can do that Zeute. My biggest problem was getting the last meal in, had I doubled I might have been better off.

Congrats Michelle! I still do MF on some days when I need a low day. Doing the zig zag thing. I was so afraid I'd gain right away when I increased carbs but so far I am down 1.5 and tomorrow is weigh in.

I didn't stray off of MF once in a month and "only" lost 12. My big problem was that I couldn't get my body regulated if you know what I mean. I didn't feel well as a result I decided it wasn't for me. I have issues with that normally so low carb makes it really bad. Nuf said!

I have had a cold and I am not hungry. When on MF that is easier because you can just drink shakes. Such a problem to have!

Have a good week! Tomorrow is a new week and it's almost march!

Ok, I did combine two last night and essentially ended up with a tapioca pudding type thing.

I thought the banana shake was too strong a "fake" banana taste and thought the pudding might be the same. I had two meals left for the day and thought if I mixed vanilla with the banana it might taste more like that banana pudding with the nilla wafers and slices of banana.

I wasn't sure if I should double the water too so I just added a little and mixed then added a bit more. It ended up being kind of lumpy, but soft lumps, like tapioca. I added a little cinnamon and wala! Tapioca pudding. You actually couldn't taste the banana at all.

Wow Sue - you're SUCH a cutie! It's hard to see your shape in your goal photo, but I can tell you have a waist line. The difference is crazy!

Do you have loose skin? You must. Will you have surgery? Were you 100%? Did you have cheat meals? If so, were they planned or mistakes?

Congrats on your AMAZING loss!!! You are an incredible motivator!

Default My weigh in day

I've had it! If anything was going to motivate me to start exercising it was jumping on the scale this morning! I have only lost 1 pound in the last two weeks. I have not not gone off plan except for the one day two weeks ago where I had bread and chocolate. The only thing I can think of is my system has never moved very quickly and/or the two nights where I did not make my own dinner, there were ingredients that I shouldn't have eaten. I guess it isn't the lack of movement on the scale that is truly bothering me, it is that MF is a bit expensive for me and if I am not going to lose for two weeks it might as well be because I am eating the foods I want, not wasting two weeks of money of something that is working for me.

Ok, that is my rant. I have a friend who went through the same thing. She ended up just having shakes and that is what did it for her. She started losing weight. Maybe, it is just time for me to change things up a bit. Either way, I know I am healthier than I was three months ago and that is what is most important.

I hope everyone is doing well....please send me good (move past the plateau) vibes.

Jen

Don't Quit Jen!

You have lost almost 50 pounds since Dec??? That is amazing!!!

Yes maybe you should start exercising, not only will it help with weight loss but it helps with self esteem, resolve, and "loose" skin.

Hang in there, I just hope I have lost that much when I reach the end of 3 months.
