Arrow Menues ~ Week of Sept 3 thru 9

I hope no one minds that I did the menu posting as a weekly thread. I just thought it might help us to refer to our eating habits a bit better.

Monday~A bad carb day !
I knew I was doing the Mayo for the next 12 days, so, I had a Whopper and fries! I haven't had a Whopper all year! Sorry, but got to be honest!

Tuesday~Mayo Clinic Plan-Day #1

B-2 bacon, 2 scrambled eggs, 3 decaf black
6 oz grapefruit juice

Planned
L-salad // (1) pork chop // g.f. juice

D-(1) hamburg pattie topped w/mushrooms & peppers
salad // Ranch Dressing
g.f. juice

**I'll come back each day and fill in portions

Water goal - 120 oz - Managed 100 oz water & (1) D Sprite

WE ARE GOING TO REACH OUR GOALS !!

Default Tuesday

Low CArb and WW but leaning towards Atkins again!

Ultra sound at 1 so ate a very early breakfast

B. 2 eggs with Italian sausage (at 5:30)

60 oz water before 1 p.m. - have already had 40 - can't pee after noon. I hate that especially when driving!

L. after the ultra-sound
some chicken chunks and cucmbers - in the car driving home

D. spaghetti squash with DH's extra meaty sauce
spinach salad

Dinner will be late because of a 4 p.m. Bingo but I have some cheese pieces ready just in case. They keep giving us free popcorn at Bingo Country!

Gee - this almost looks like Atkins.

Default Tuesday:

a strong start! I forgot to buy grapefruits, though.

B- 2 eggs, 2 slices bacon

L-jerk chicken, sauteed cabbage, about 1/2 c. rice and beans

D- boneless pork, asparagus with butter, a little applesauce (maybe 1/4 c.)

S- none, too busy. Tonight I'll have some cheese while watching t.v.

Pretty good day, I was going to do Mayo for the structure and forced pre-decided menu, we'll see if tomorrow is closer. Lunches are hard for me, I can't readily get salad without going out in the car, or making it in the morning which is a little more than I am willing to do!

But, not a bad day, overall. I think I'll go fold the laundry...does that count for "e?"

I almost answered this by starting another thread myself!

your food looks great! What plan are you on? For Atkins, it looks fine, just count the carbs for your veggies, like the tomato.

But for the other plans, other than Induction it looks great!

Avacado is 13 g for California(the little dark ones I think, and 27 for the Florida, the big glossy bright green ones). That is what it says in the Atkins Counter.

But my Eades book(Protein Power) says 1/2 avacado is under 5 grams. So be careful not to overdo, but it is such a beneficial fat and soooo satisfying...yum yum!

enjoy!
