Angry Trying to sneak in early.........

So possibly I can chat a bit before dh is whining I'm on the computer!
I was able to sneak in for just a few minutes yesterday but not able to read and catch up with everyone!

Life is good though as crazy and hectic as usual. Or maybe a bit more - lol Since dh and son haven't been going to the deer lease I've had absolutely no me time! I often wonder how I kept my sanity without the internet and when all five kids were at home AND I worked outside the home full time.

Good news is all is healthy (would love to add wealthy and wise to that but not pushing my luck - lol). Melissa & kids are coming to visit from England the first of April, Chad (ds) is doing great and back to college part time, haven't heard from troubled son Keith but pray he's okay, Michael is hoping to become an exchange student during last year of high school and Stephen is back home.......ready for this?????? ....... he's clean and drug free!!!!! Thank dear God in Heaven!!!! He just started a real job at a plumbing company! So, thru all the craziness in my life the important things are true Blessings (and keep me sane - lol )

As for me I'm doing okay ---- been doing some self sabotaging the past several months. I'm convinced it's due to the thought of further surgery but trying to get a handle on it . A bit of wait and see not happy news from my mammogram and pap this month but hoping that it's going to prove to be just scar tissue from the reduction and hormonal changes due to the big M.

Am very anxious to catch up with everyone's going on's the past month that i've been m.i.a..

Hugs to all !!!!!

Hi there, Chicklets.
Great to see you again, MamaJ. Good news about your drug-free son. What worries these children can bring us! Makes me wonder why we continue to have children....prolly cus the grandkids are so wonderful. LOL

Robin, you sure do like to torture me. Now I'm curious as a cat what neat things you and dh got up to yesterday that have made you so gah-gah.

I think a lot of our former regulars have defected to the Atkins site or other places here at 3FC. I don't know how long we can last at this rate. It's a shame really.

Good evening ladies :0
Been busy here with kids and stuff so I'm not even on the comuter that much

MamaJ, so nice to see you again! Glad to hear all is well in your world

I agree Linda, the site is so diverse now that our regulars have congregated in different areas. I miss seeing you guys and although I'm not doing a strict low carb WOE at the moment, I do like to come in and see everyone. After all, I'm probably going to be right back at it again after this baby is born!

Speaking of my wee bean, my morning sickness is fading a bit and I actually am starting to feel a wee bit more normal. I am however eating strange things and continuing to crave fruit and fruit juice. I rented a doppler off the internet so I can hear the baby's haeratbeat at home. Should be here by Monday so I can take it to my doctor's appointment on Wednesday. I'm hoping we hear a good strong one!

Hope you all are well and happy--love you all!

Glad to hear you are doing well, Pooky - it's nice to hear from you.

Robin - You have us ALL interested now!!!!

Janice - I can always tell when you get back online when I have a slew of funny e-mails in my inbox! Glad to hear that the kiddos are doing well. And what's up with the self sabotage? Sometimes we are our own worst enemy it seems.

Linda - Yeah, I'm pretty upset about the fracturing of our little piece of heaven that we have enjoyed for sooooo many years. I really felt us low carbers majorly benefited from sharing with each other our experiences with all the different plans in just one place. and I rarely have extra time to go searching around the other forums to check up on our missing brood. In the mornings I only have time to check here and then WLS (just love to keep up with Jiff, Peach, Debkay, Chickadee) and that's it! (but I've b!tched about this enough so I will shut up now)

Wild weather day here today. Sunny, then fast moving cloud came in, major downpours, rainbows, hail, all while we could still see the sun! Very strange for us here!

Gotta run and go pick up Bry from baseball practice. I guess they made them workout in it all since I didn't get a call to come get him early! He's probably soaked!

Hi ladies,
Checking in late, I have been busy with school stuff and had a hair cut this morning that I REALLY needed. I got stuck in a meeting that took entirely too long today after that.

We have next Friday off for parent teacher confrences so i am taking older boy to MN to visit our friend. I kept thinking it was 2 weeks form now. Not a lot of packing but I said yes to a lot of things next week too...Welll it gets me up in the morning right?

I have more to do tonight. i took the day off from the gym and a WO, I hate to blow the money on a hair cut and then have to sweat and ruin it  to everyone... i like it here too, maybe a weekly thread? I look forward to seeing all of you each day...don't make me find another group...but if I had to defect it might be to the WLS group....

Night night ladies....
Hey pookie are you still in Canada? or Hotalnta?

OK chickies, I know I'm really late today, but I just got home from work... had to leave early this morning, so no time to check in (Not to mention the fact that dh's puter is not connecting to the 'net, so he was hogging MINE this morning!!!)

Janice=--- great to see you!! I'm so happy about the good stuff with the kidlets, esp Stephen....... that's really terrific! About that mammo: did your doc recommend a follow-up sonogram? I've done lots on people who had mammos that either weren't clear, or had densities that the doc wanted a different view..... just something to perhaps mention to him. It can really serve as a quick and painless way to put your mind at rest!

Ok Robin, you better give up the news......... we ALL want to hear about your hubby!!! c'mon, give it up girl!!!!

Pooky. so glad that the sickness is subsiding......... it'll be so much easier for you now! Wow! I can't believe that you can now rent a doppler to hear the baby anytime you want! That is soooo cool! Actually, that was one of my favorite things when I did OB sonos... actually SEEING the baby's heartbeat and letting the mommy hear it! What's the news w/the move to Atlanta? Please please please don't tell me you're gonna become a Brave's fan!?!?!? that would just be too much for me to bear!!!

Linda and Kel, you're right about our little corner of the coop getting kind of fractured...... I never have time to search the other boards for news of our missing chickies, and miss them, too. I've been back doing Atkins pretty strictly (for me!!) since we came home from Florida the first week of January, but, for me, the support here is important... all you chickies have really helped me to stick back to it after going so wild for so many months - and btw, with all of your help and support, I want you to know that in the last 7 weeks, I've lost (drum roll here please.........) 10 lbs!!!!! Now there's only about 15 to go to get back to where I was before I went on my binge!!

Well, time to finish some laundry -- Ingrid ( Ruthie, she's MY Gail!) is coming in the morning, and if I want her to put clean flannel sheets on the bed, I better wash them!!! Have a great night everyone..........
