Waving westward at Pooky.....
Rainy Thursday morning here so no coffee on the deck. (I'd use the front porch but Mrs. Robin is nesting out there and is still asleep.) The good news is I won't have to go over to the Fairgrounds to water. I bought myself one of those flat hoses which makes the task a heck of a lot easier than lugging pails of water. The bad news? Hmmmm - can't think of any at the moment except that we are back to muddy paws again.
After yesterday's running around - music, CanTire, groceries - I am glad to have a day at home. This is the day I was originally scheduled to pick up schoolwork for the Fair but nobody will be ready until next week so BONUS! Next week will be really busy with that and other stuff but I intend to thoroughly enjoy this day off.
I am still stuck at 203 but expect the Whoosh Fairy any day now. I got some new duds from Sears yesterday in size 18 - NOT 18W - and am just thrilled to be back in the "normal" size range. Next goal is 16P. One pair of pants in parachute fabric is a wee bit snug over the tummy but I am keeping them as an incentive. There will be great celebrations in here when I get to ONEderland. I have been over 200 since somewhere in the mid-1980's! I have not decided how to mark the event - champagne, pralines 'n cream ice cream? Inappropriate food rewards so I'll have to think on this one. Maybe lobster?
I'm babbling so I'm off to get another coffee and throw a load into the dryer. I washed an antique quilt the other day and it fell apart so yesterdays dark load had to be re-washed to get off the white bits. I hate that!
Have a great day, Chickies.
