I would love to get as close as possible to my goal by June21. Because once the heat gets here, Im useless. I hate exercising in the heat, and Im a big ole slug!! So.......if I can get there before the heat hits full blast, I'll be able to maintain thru the summer fairly easily.

I'm in! I want to drop 10 pounds by June 21 and keep my blood sugar in normal range.
As of today, I am 210 pounds. I will be following a lower carb plan - and carbs I eat will be healthy carbs which are low glycemic index. My average fasting BGL should be less than 6 by then - it's just over 6 now.
Good idea, RobinH. I kind of wiped out - heck, really wiped out - on the Easter goals due to stress stuff in my life but this is it!
Ok, I'm in. We leave for 5 weeks away on June 18, so that will be my challenge date.
The amt to lose is where I have a hard time setting goals. Let's see, 8 weeks, 2 lb per week - I'm in for 15 lb to pick a nice round number, but 2 more lb would make a nice 270 so that's it!

I'm on Atkins Phase I and I go to the gym 3-4 times per week for cadio with 1-2 weight circuits in there too.
Today, 287, next Monday needs to be 285 or better!
I'm in! I'm starting the SBD plan today (Phase 1). I am new to any low carb type program so I need all the help I can get. I've done ww for 3 years and am bored with it. This plan sounds more like the way I want to eat.

Me too. I have been on Phase I of the South Beach Diet for two weeks (but slipped yesterday on Easter), but on my weigh-in day today, I had lost a total of 8 lbs, but plan to stay on Phase I for another week. This is my first time also on a low-carb diet.
My Plan: South Beach Diet
Exercise: walking 35-45 minutes 5 days a week.

Well, its the end of the day, and here's how I did.
I got my walk in, only about 35 min instead of my usual 45-55 min. I didnt start my weights today, but I'll be up early tomorrow, so I'll start first thing in the morn before hubby leaves for his job site.
Eating went pretty good.....I thought I would try some left over potatoes for supper, but it wasnt a good idea, its 7pm, and Im hungry. So......no more potatoes!! I didnt get enough water in today, but Im still out of practise. Tomorrow its back to work and back to the routine.

I have been doing Atkins since Mid Feb. and have taken off about 20 pounds. I have not been as strict as i was in the beginning, so i would like again, to face a challenge to loose 30 lbs by June!.
I am at 170 now and by June want to be 140 to be able to wear those cute little clothes (and bathing suits )
I'm always up for a challenge. I started the South Beach diet yesterday and would like to to loose 23 pounds by 6/21. We are going to CT for my nephew's graduation (June 25th) so I'll be in until we leave. then we'll see.
