Goodness, I have no idea how long it has been since I have been here. I wonder how many of you I will remember...or you me. My weight has totally skyrocked in the WRONG direction. Since I lost my husband to a massive heart attack 2 years ago, I have been so afraid of low carb. But now with all the new studies out, I'm a believer again. It certainly worked for me in the past, so I want to try again. I have to get out my books and brush up...I almost forget where to start! Any support anyone can share wil be greatly appreciated.

So very sorry to hear about your DH. You must have gone through a really rough time.

Get out those books and read up on the different plans and ask questions. Post on the Daily too where we whine, moan, rejoice, laugh, tease and generally relate. Don't forget to check out the Frequently Asked Questions part of the LC forum as well.

I remember that you had told me your DH had passed. I can only imagine what you've gone through. And I hope that having your friends here with you can offer you support and help you move forward.

Hi Janice,

No, I finally changed jobs just a month ago. Well, changed companies. I stopped working from home about a year and half ago, and moved to a different position with the company. I just had to make a move away from corporate America and have gone to a smaller organization (I was with the other company for almost 13 years!). So it is kind of like a little divorce...very hard to get used to it and learning something new.

I am so glad you have kept my on your e-mail distribution list...love getting your e-mails.

Well, I can't find my 1st Adkins book or my CAD book. But thanks to 3FC...it looks like I can get everything I need here.
