Angry New to Somersizing!

I have been doing low carbs for about a year now and just recently i've started Somersizing and think this is the key for me. Her program makes so much sense to me. But I am new and wonder what some of you do for a quick and easy breakfast, lunch and dinner. Need some ideas for easy things. If I have time I have the book and can make a more detailed recipe but want ideas for easy things so I'm not tempted to make a bad choice.

I also started at a circuit style gym today! I'm so excited about that and now i'm not only taking care of me and my diet but my overall health.

Since I started paying attention to low carbs and incorporating SSzing, i've lost since pounds since last tuesday!

Would love to hear others success with this program....

Angry

First off, congratulations on your weight loss. Please join us on the Lo-Carb Free Style thread. Some of us are SSzing, and a few of us are former SSizers. For breakfast, the easiest thing for me to have is 2 Shredded Wheat Biscuits or some other legal cereal, and skim milk. But, my favorite breakfast is scrambled eggs with cooked crumbled up hamburg. For lunch when I was SSzing was a HUGE salad with all kinds of meat and cheese, and that was very satisfying. Do you have a George Foreman grill? Grilled chicken, or any type of meat with lots of veggies makes for a nice dinner. If you can get her new book, Fast & Easy there are tons of fast recipes to make. Hope to see you on our thread. Suzanne does have a website www.suzannesomers.com where you can get a lot of recipes and meal ideas. Now I am going to WW but I am eating real foods, no sugar or white flour, and eating my fruits alone, etc.

im glad somersizing is working for you, but it didn't work for me- i didn't really give it a chance, BUT when i was on it, i was always calling my mom to ask her what i can eat!, and the food isn't really all that great- in her diet you can have a bagel, but with nothing on it. I am now on the curves diet, and if you WERE to have a piece of toast (which is allowed later), you can have butter, or a protien on it also!
good luck newayz

cmlovin_cmdiggin,
I'm sorry that Sszing did not work for you. I got discouraged because the weight loss was soooo slow but I think it was my fault because I did have a lot of cheats, and sometimes I just wanted to eat a regular sandwich! I tried many times to go back OP, but couldn't stick with it more than a couple of days. Actually, I find her food delicious and even though I'm not SSzing I still use her recipes occasionally. If you eat a bagel on SSzing you can put fat-free cottage cheese or fat free ricotta cheese on it, but I prefer ricotta. I have incorporated Sugar Busters WOE to go along with WW. Good luck with your Curves diet.
