Default Sunday

so many chores, so little time

Spent yesterday picking up stuff from Home Depot (sink, faucets, etc) and this morning cleaning and preping for kitchen contractor tomorrow morning. This afternoon I am relaxing a bit and will go see DN play soccer for a while. Making salmon with pesto, broccoli and baked potato(DH) for dinner, then early to bed.

Thanks for your input on the dishwasher a while ago- I ended up with a KitchenAid. Sears had a basic one on sale and they could deliver it tomorrow. Can't wait! I really don't cook as much as I would like because I hate the clean-up in this kitchen. but things should be better now, I added a little more counter space, and an extra wall cabinet that will help with my storage problems. This was fun, I've been wanting to do it for so long, and just decided to take the plunge and go!

Missed the site this morning, but glad we're back on!

Debkay, are you watching Survivor this time around?

Hey Giggles! Nice to see you- I'm like you, LC is how I live. I hardly ever loose anything, but I just feel better this way!

Good Moring Dottie and all those to come!

Sure glad the site is back up,I have stupendous news! I went from 209 last Sunday to 202 today!! WOOOHOOO!! 7 pounds lost! I can't wait to see the nubmers go down further!

Well, you can call me Tim Taylor today, I am making my own craft table! After nagging the sh** out of dh to make one for me only to be waiting for the last 6 months, I am taking the plunge and doing it myself. I jigsawed the corners smooth on a scrap piece of plywood, sanded the whole thing down and snagged the legs off of my old kitchen table in the junk heap. Now just waiting for dh to come home with some scrap wood they have at work he can have so I can cut some mounting squares for the legs. And voila! craft table! I'm going to paint it up, cutie little design and polyurethane the heck out of it.

As for our water woes--it only gets worse. I was doing my laundry when my water turned ORANGE!! We have a well and it's been so dry that we think the foot in the well is sucking up air and water and that means we are getting the dregs at the bottom of the water tank --eugh! Worse yet, I was doing a load of whites! 3 scoops of Oxyclean and a wash, another 2 scoops of Oxyclean and a wash and a rinse and I have them semi normal. Dh thinks I'm a goddess. Doing the rain here!

Hope you all have a great day!
