This week so far has been incrediably difficult for me, I think I can still see and smell the smoke from what happened almost one year ago. I know I can definitly feel the fear and the disbelief but mostly it still feels like someone is standing on my chest.

Sweetie Leens,

I hear ya! For me it is the dazzling blue sky that is freaking me out. I feel like everytime I go out of the house, send my kidlets to school, turn off the news, engage in life's everyday activities...like talking to my neighbors or driving in the car or even staying on my food program that I am winning. I guess, maybe if I fake doing the "usual" stuff that I can get through the unusual times. I know one thing, I promised myself that I will not sit in front of the tv and watch and watch and watch and watch the news for hours on end, I don't think that was so good for my mental health this time last year. Remember yes, but not the constant replaying of the nightmare.

Hey Leens, I'm right with you, too. Can't watch any of it and I keep hearing snippets of heart-breaking stories on the radio and tv that bring tears to my eyes.

I feel nervous, too. I didn't think I would, but I do. Call me tomorrow if you feel like it... I'll be at work, I'll think of you. We'll be OK!
