had a little cantelope fest, better than chocolate ice cream, but too much! It was delicious, though. Otherwise a good day, not an Atkins day, but a healthy day.

I can live with that.

Default Sunday Menu

this is the plan:

b-protein shake

l-BBQ-probably ribs and coleslaw
Can you tell I'm eating out today? And a little excited?

d- something light, maybe some salad with cold pesto salmon from last night on it.

Sue, I keep sugar free ice pops, and fudgesicles in the freezer. Sometimes it doesn't work and I eat DH's frozen yogurt, but 90% of the time, it does.

yesterday:

protein shake

6 shrimp and about 3/4 c caesar salad

veal with mushrooms and a little cream and some zucchini
1 crust from a slice of italian bread
3 bites of grand marnier mousse pie

[can you tell i had dinner with a friend last night? she ate most of the dessert, but let me taste it!!}

then i realized that i was having a REAL low protein day, and ended it with two more shrimp and an ounce of dill havarti and three saltines.

and about 95 oz of water!!!!! [crystal light, diet lemonade, decaf iced coffee.. you get the idea!]

and today, i've had a protein shake. i'll have to eat something or other for breakfast... and then and then and then???? ribs? pulled pork?? the possibilities are endless!!!!

and then a carb-free treat at veneiro's [yeah, right. and if you believe THAT one, i have a bridge to sell you!!!]

Here goes...........

I didn't do tooooo badly, altho the day isn't over yet!!!

b - the usual cheese omelet

l - at Texas BBQ: medium-hot chicken wings (shared!) and BBQ brisket........ yummmmmm
at Veniero's..... iced cappucino and tastes of Chocolate Mousse Cake and cheese cake........ but boyohboy... did I ever want more........

d - IF I get hungry again.... dh is having some guys over and barbequing, so he took out a couple of hamburgers for me.. that would be it......

it's not for me to say what anyone else had on their plates...... you'll just have to wait for them to tell you!!

Sunday (on Atkins)

B:
4 slices bacon
2 fried eggs

L:
Deli BBQ chicken breast & wing
Small avocado
1/2 tomato
chopped green onion
1 tbsp Hellman's Mayo
1/2 cup DIVINE home made low carb Very Strawberry Ice Cream Yummy
Snack: 1/2 cup macadamia nuts dipped in 2 tbsp real cream cheese (not a good choice but good. )

D:
4 oz salmon fillet
2 oz fried shrimp
sauted zucchini, red pepper & mushrooms
with butter
1/2 cup low carb ice cream (this stuff is GOOOOOOD...my second attempt at home made ice cream, much better than the first)

That's my Sunday. I checked on FitDay.com and I had just over 2,000 calories, 70% fat, 3% carb and 27% protein. A bit high on the fat and a bit low on the carbs but close to my goals which are 1600 - 1900 calories, 65% fat, 35% protein and 5% carbs.
