Yeay! Thanks for replying! I think I really am going to try it again...by "dabbling" I mean, I've done zone for a while, and Atkins for a while, but always give up ! Not because it didnt work, but I just don't know why~! I think I'm going to seriously commit to it like you say, for four weeks...

Get a newer book at the library. the newer ones are more flexable. like Atkins life plan or Protein Power Life Plan or Carbo Addicts Life Plan

We are here to pull you along. Han on the first few weeks are the hardest that is why i said give it a 4 week trial once past the first 2 weeks it is just all a breeze

Welcome to the site and our low carb chickies! I agree with Sue, give yourself a month and go to your public library and read a lot! no one plan is for everyone, we all are on a variety of plans, but the central core is low carb.

Talking

Hi!
I did low carb for 3 months, and lost about 17 lbs. I started modifying it though; some (very small sum ha ha) carbs at dinner, but really I just didn't crave them anymore-unless they were in beer form.
Now that I'm pregnant, I'm still low carb food wise, but I'm drinking milk and eating alot of fruit. At least I'll know how to lose the weight after the baby is born!!
Good luck to you. These ladies know how to keep you going!

I am following the Protein power Plan but they all are good it depends on your level of commitment.
