Well, I WAS going to commit to exercising more than once this week but have already met that goal. Miss Lucy and I just came back from an hour and a half walk. Of course, in Delta, you have to visit with folks you meet but we did cover 3 miles despite the delays. Now it's raining again so our timing was perfect.
This week I will walk at least three more days.

Default I Know how much better I feel.

But yhis week is going to be a bust for me. Monday I will probally go to the club, but Tues I have furniture being delivered, Wed a Dr appt, and Thurs I leave for CT So I guess it'll just be riding me exercise bike. Maybe I should dust off my Oxycize tapes.

Exercise is where I have been really lacking since getting out of the hospital.

I'm gaining strength all the time so I now will state..........I will ride my stationary bike 3 times this week, working up to a few minutes more each time.

This is a great idea. Over the weekend I did my 1 mile Walk Away tape twice on Sat. and my 2 mile tape once on Sunday. So, I am going to set my goal to workout at least 4 times this week. Got stuff going on on Wed. and Sat.,so I might not be able to those days. But I have no forseeable excuse not to the other days. Here we go!

jiff, wish I knew how to swim, swimming is one of the exercises the doctors keep mentioning to me, but I have to say "I can't swim. next."

I managed to ride my exercise bike yesterday, not for very long, but at least it was something.

No exercise yesterday - except whining - but am off for a walk to the cemetary with the dogs in a few minutes. It's only 2K there and back but better than butt-sitting! We have such a shiny morning!

Debbie - learn to swim. You will love it!

Default Sadism requested, please!

Ok you guys, I need a royal kick in the butt. Somebody remind me how good exercise is for me, and how I had better get on the treadmill or be disowned from the site! I've not done ANYTHING while recovering from tendonitis, and I finally feel like my foot is well enough to walk without damaging it.

Also, any suggestions for making a somewhat musty cinderblock basement more cozy for treadmilling?

I'm ready for my beatings, mistresses!
