Default I'm Getting Better Everyday!!!!!
Hi everyone!

I've been home from the hospital for 8 days now, after spending 10 1/2 weeks there, 6 1/2 in ICU.

I want to thank each and everyone of you for your prayers and best wishes. Our dear sweet peachie printed off a thread of best wishes and mailed it to me, it brightned my day!!

For those of you that don't know I had gastric by-pass on Jan 14th. Complications from the original surgery required two more operations. Than things started going terribly wrong, what could go wrong did go wrong. I don't remember most of it, thank goodness, but my poor hubby remembers it all.

I came home from the hospital very weak, needing a walker to walk, but in a weeks time I have graduated to a 4 prong cane (with the help of a physical therapist.) I get better everyday!!

I plan to stick around with my low-carb friends (your the best) as the gastric by-pass diet is very close to low carb (we have to concentrate on protein.)

I can't wait to get back into the groove of posting everyday!

Debkay!!!! I have been away for a couple of days and when I popped in today and saw your post I was SO happy!!!!!! You have been through so much girl!I am looking forward to hearing from you more often here! You take care of yourself!!!!!
