Talking Wednesday, March 20th

Good morning ladies! Happy Spring!!!

Just back from the Y, sposed to get more rain today, we may float away here in East Tennessee!!!

Had a 3rd phone interview yesterday with another company. Hopefully I will hear something soon!!

Ate pretty well yesterday, the afternoons at work are killers, by about 3pm I am foraging for food. I guess I need to bring more to eat so I don't hit the chip machine!!!

Hope you all have a great day! Happy

Morning all-

Quiet day today. we are short-staffed so the days have been busy, and we are still unpacking and getting files put away. But the day goes fast, and I am physicially more tired at night and am sleeping better.

Scooby, the afternoon is killer for me too. I need to really plan to keep something available then- like those individual Breakstone cottage cheese cups- 4 grams carb. Or cheese or meat roll ups. Peanuts? It is my diet coke time, too. water all day, but I have one soda a few times a week. I tend to drink iced tea at home, but it's a nice treat at work.

Hope everyone has a good day- it's cold and sleeting and grey here, hope this is the last before spring comes for real!

dottie

Hi Janice, i just went back and read yesterday's daily- Please let us know how DD is doing! Prayers for all of you and hug those g-babies for us.

Hi Chickies and good Wednesday morning.

My new sling makes a huge difference although it sure restricts mobility. I am allowed to take it off for dressing and baths - of course! - and it felt just great "loose" this morning. There is hope!

I have figured out why Hershey is not losing weight - she is raiding bird feeders! I guess you could gain weight from eating too many sunflower seeds BUT I have also found two mesh bags - the kind that suet balls come in! They were behind the barn - she is obviously a sneaky snacker! As to Miss Lucy/Lucifer - she is still in disgrace after tearing open a bag of coffee and then spreading it on the couch. I can't imagine Lucy with a caffeine high! Hide the car keys!

Nothing much planned for today except concentrating on eating properly, taking calcium and Vit C and reading the last of my library books. Still snow out there after it all being gone a week ago so I am not going for a walk for fear of falling.

Be good chickies.

Good Morning everyone!

Scooby and Dottie, I so hear you on the snacking--my problemis that I don't work a regular week and food intake is dependent upon what time I have my lunch! I find that even if I nibble on some cheese and celery sticks it helps the snakcies move on. I also find a bottle of waterhelpsit go away too. There are some days where it just doesn't matter what I do, I just have to tough it out and then eat LOTS of protein for dinner. Gee, why does it have to be all so hard?

Ruth, I'm glad to hear that you are taking good care of yourself--can't have our head chick with a broken wing out for too long!

Janice, ((((((((BIG HUGS)))))))))) to you--if anyone ever needed a vacation from everydaylife, you sure do. My prayers are with you!

Last night I got the pantry doors back on and WOW do they ever look good! I'm so excited now--I can't wait to see the rest of the kitchen finished.

I don't have much on the agenda today save going to the gym again (enjoyed it a LOT yesterday) and doing lots of laundry!

Have a good one!

Morning All,
Back from MN. Yesterday was crazy getting started on the master bath. The shower is not out yet so I don't have any idea the extent of the damage from the water valve. The insurance co is offering less than 1/3 of the cost so that might be a little fight. I have a sitter for the day and looking forward to getting stuff for the 2 other bathrooms, including new towels. I have 30 for passover next week and a lot of putting things back together since it took 9 weeks to do the other bathrooms. I have to wash the dishes and find another table as it is a sitdown dinner.

Kids are doing well this am after a day of relaxing yesterday. Sitter will take them to see ice age today. I am glad to have a kidless day after 2 weeks of non stop kid stuff.

Going to find new towels and wait for the plumber as the destruction continues!

Ruth glad you are feeling better and I too have a dog that is a closet snacker. She loves the bird seed too. My other dog is too stupid to even concider it.

Good day to all of you, and wishing you an on point day.
