Sunny Saturday but cold - only 13F right now and going up to 25 this afternoon.
Today I am tackling the laundry that has been piling up. DH had a "simple hinge fix" project which has meant that I couldn't get at the washing machine! He finally finished it this morning so the machine will be going all day.
I am also planning to plant some seeds - rosemary and sage - for our Church yard sale in May. Parsley and chives will be next once I get these guys done. Basil comes much later.
Sewing is still on the agenda but first I will go to the Office for only ONE hour to get my financial report started - maybe even finished. Most of the Board members are at the Toronto Convention so there should be very few interruptions - I hope!
Beautiful day in Houston today. Sunny with a high in the low 70's.
DH has a church function, so I have the whole morning to myself. The cleaning lady was here this week so no fly lady needed. Going to catch up on so,e reading and later will venture out for a mani/pedi and maybe a little shopping. Been a while since I've been able to take a fun day.
Finally, the dd is ensconced in front of the TV with Granny, and I am able to devote some serious time to the machine. Have to get 2 squares done for a March swap I'm in, then start on the throw for the couch. The one I made for the chaise lounge is too short for dd, so this one will be twice as big. Then there's always the Barbie quilt to start, and the Crown Royal to finish. What fun!!
We garage saled and auctioned today! OMG! I think I could become an addict at this!!! 1 cashmere camel coat, 1 pendleton mens coat $5!!! (Can you tell I'm new to the world of garage sales??)
Staying op. No exercise in days it seems. Still laughing over Chickadees reformating of the swimsuit edition

Hi, I'm still alive and the kitchen is only half done. We still have cabinet doors to finish off and of course there's the touch ups to be done. I haven't even gotten to the countertop yet, I think that may be saved till later on. All I can say with the painting we've done today, my kitchen has made a world of improvement! Not to mention dh and I are totally exhausted.
