Talking Yay!!!!

Today I dusted off the old walking shoes. After it rained I walked around the cemetery for 1 mile. Took only 15 minutes, which is making me angry. Do I need to do it twice to get 30 minutes in? Anyway, moving is moving, considering the source!

Goal for this week: Exercise 6x (I may do 7 though!)

Last week I aimed for seven days, but yesterday I just didn't get it in. Six days of exercise is pretty darn great for me though!

Good for all of us! Keep it up ladies.

Just checking in. So far this week I've exercised everyday but Monday. Just couldn't get it in. Today I'm doing the Walk Away the Pounds 3-mile walk.

The other day I was getting dressed and noticed how much different my arms felt to the touch. They are definitely getting harder because of more muscle, after only three weeks of those cute little weighted balls combined with the walks. Maybe there is something to this regular exercise thing afterall. Hmmm...

Angry hi there

Hi, I am new to this thread and discussion, but you all seem so nice and so inspirational. I have lurked here a bit and thought it time to add my two cents. My excersise this week has been better. I live on a small island and don't attend a gym, but I workout at home in a weightroom, and do jogging and aerobic dance. This week I have run on five days, each for about 29 minutes, I am guessing at a 13 minute mile based on the distance I went. (Dirt roads, lots of sunshine and wind...) I did weights three days, (Sun, tues, thurs). Today was my fifth run of the week. (I count sunday as the first day of the week.) I have been bad in teh past about keeping in shape, and have jsut started back up again. I have to eat low carb and excersize since I have PCOS. If i fail to do either of those things, i put on weight without even trying. I currently weight about 160, (I am guessing, I have no scale, just measurements) My highest weight was 180, though I have gone up and down to 135 five times in the past ten years...(I am 29 years old.) THanks for your inspiration, and letting me jump in on this conversation.

=^..^=
