Default 7 day workout challenge beginning Friday the 18th!

Okay Ladies! Here is one for you!

There is nothing lke a little competition to get my butt moving, so I am hoping some of you will want to do this with me!

I challenge you to do some type of exercise for the next seven days...walk, run, treadmill, weights, aerobics, whatever you want to do. Everyday or so, log in and tell everyone what you did and for how long. At the end of the seven days if there is anyone who worked out all 7 days for at least half an hour, the rest of us will declare them the winner, and you can post a smiley face below your signature if you want, declaring yourself the winner of the 7 day workout challenge...


Is anybody with me???!?!?

I am in!! I am changing my routine a bit. increading the weights and decreasing the cardio for the nest few weeks to increase my lean mass. so here goes

15 walking the tread mill
1 hour weights leg presses, chest presses, abductors/ adductors calves

Ok here goes, bit I am going to backtrack a little you can consider me starting the 18th but......

Mon/Jan 14-30 minutes treadmill/strength training(didthe circuit at the Y

Tues/Jan 15- 20 minutes Treadmill/10 minutes stair climber

Thur/Jan 17 - 20 minutes treadmill/10 minutes stair climber

Fri/Jan 18 - 20 minutes treadmill/12 minutes stair climber.


This is fun. Now I feel guilty if I don't get up and Just do it!!!

Hello Everyone! I hope everyone is doing better than I am...I worked out for 20 minutes on Friday...Yoga, 2 hours of roller skating on Saturday...and Nothing since then!!! Ugh! I am such a loser! I guess that I won't "win" this thing...however I will work out tonight...I guess I will be trying this again next week...I'll check in tomorrow to see how everyone is doing.

I am here. I had to take yesterday off as DH had to go to the surgons for an appt early and then the day is shot!

today I did 20 on the ellkiptical for 300 burn and then did about 30 min weights!!

OP again (yesterday had a sunday)

Talking I exercised today! Yippee!!

However, before we all say hosannas, I have to throw this in. I took a "buddy" to the track, and she had to sit down every lap. I would do another lap while she sat and then she'd join me for the next one. Still, after only half a mile, she had to leave, she couldn't take it! Does that mean I'm in better shape than I thought, or she's in worse shape than she thought? Anyway, movement is movement, and 15 minutes is better than none!

Sherrie WAY TO GO!!! I think you are in better shape then you thought!!

I did a heck of an upper body workout!! I am going to hurt tomorow!! I also burned 500 on the elliptical.

Talking Thanks, Nasus!!!

I dragged her butt out again, and this time we did it at my work, the cemetery. There is no stopping when you get tired, because you still have to get back to the car somehow! Today we did 1 and a half miles, and even slow and steady I am proud of us! I guess I'll have to do it alone sometimes, because I haven't noticed my heart rate going up at all. This is more like a slow stroll through the mall Anyway, onwards and upwards!

Hello Everyone....I am not for sure who won this thing....I guess we are all winners because we made an effort! Great Job ladies!

Laast night I walked for 1-1/2 hours....don't know the milage! Thanks ladies! Let's do this again sometime....

You guys declare the winner for me....I am sick, and my kids are sick, and I have to work both jobs today!!!!

Meloday we are all winners for getting out and doing it. In this there is no set winner but a whole group of them.

I just cam back from my workout. I feel better this week doing them. I dod 30 on the elliptical then 45 weights. I hope i did a good job on my legs. I intend to be a bit sore tomorow!

Talking Well, I personally would rather be a loser!!

Unfortunately, that is not yet the case. Today I didn't exercise, too darn cold to walk. However, I did clean very vigorously tonight, and was extra, extra good on the eating today, so does that cancel each other out? May hit the leisure center tomorrow if I can ditch the munchkin Hey, grandma??????

Hey I did very good today...I stuck with my diet, and i did 20 minutes of kickboxing, and I did 20 minuts of pilates. I feel super, like I can conquer anything!!!!!!!


I AM SUPER FAT GIRL!!!!!

Okay I"m fine now. I am just really psyched over trying again on this diet! I have been so unmotivated that now that I am motivated... I feel a little....unstoppable?????

Anyway...I think we are doing great. The pounds should start falling off for all of us!
