I just got the call from the Dr's office... good news... my blood sugar came back within the normal range so no gestational diabetes!
I'm doing as much of the happy dance as I can at this point. I have to say I really envy the women in those pregnancy fitness videos who went into pregnancy at their ideal weight and then have been able to continue to exercise throughout their pregnancy.
Congrats on the test results. I went through my second pregnancy with gd. Although it did not present to much of a hardship on my part, it just made me worry about the dear gift from God growing inside of me. Darren was born happy and very healthy.
I wish I could have been one of those exercisers during pregnancy. I bought the tapes, but they were never used.

Thanks everyone... it's nice to have so much support in this. I was so worried about it. It's the one thing I've REALLY been working not to have happen durring this pregnancy. I know that I am at risk for type 2 diabetes and that would mean that I am more likely to be at risk for gestational diabetes as well. I am going to keep an even closer eye on my carb intake for the rest of my pregnancy.
