Well looks like we've had quite a few problems after not being able to get in!

Been busy today, lots of cleaning and doing laundry. Making Chicken soup right now, goes with the weather that has a chill in the air.

Went to the doctor on Wednesday and I have to go see an obgyn to start fertility treatment. Can you believe I have to wait till Feb. 21st?? Holy smokes that's along time away! Oh well, whatever it takes, right?

I wish I could say the WOE was going well, I'd be lying if I said it was. Yesterday was NOT an OP day, got into some take out and then there was the homemade dinner rolls...you can see where I'm going with this. So far it has been an OP day and I'm going to put a LOT of protein down my mouth to jump start me back and drink a LOT of water.

Have a great day chickies!

Things may be a bit unstable. Looks like we lost some posts! Don't say anything earth shattering in case we lose it again.

Just back from Lucy's first trip to MY vet. He is very impressed and she only yipped once for a needle. I'm so proud! She has also started to go to the door to go outside. We are on our way! Just hope the mild weather stays as I sure am not going out there to freeze and wait for potty performance.

Had a good lunch and gossip in Ottawa yesterday - had just the liver and bacon and turned away the fries. Did a shop afterwards and realized I am still pretty wobbly. Before driving home I put the seat back in the car and had a wee snooze in the parking lot. Probably looked like I was drunk!

Today is tiddle up the living and dining rooms as I have a Wardens' meeting here tomorrow at 8:30. I actually BOUGHT muffins to have with the coffee so I would not be tempted. Must admit I gave in to some chocolate last night and had the runs this a.m.!

I WILL BE STRONG TODAY!

I wish I had something profound to say! I cancelled my therapy appointment this AM as I was awake from 2:00 until 4:30 and I thought a nap would do me some good. I just could not sleep! My shoulder didn't hurt, but my mind was without speed control. It kept racing from subject to subject. Maybe it was cause I am a wee bit upset with DH. Tonight it's time for "the talk"!
Yesterday, DD Zookeeper and I went to a fabric store. Wow, was that fun! I found fabric for curtains for the livingroom and nice broadcloth in red for a shirt for DH. He likes my shirts better than store bought as I lenghten the body so his shirts stay put.
Enough babbling....take cake now and God bless!

HI EVERYBODY!!!!

Not much happening here in Washington today. Gray, dismal, winter. Today is going to be filled with me trying to whip that Fly. Also, need to hang the border is girls room and get prepared for the weekend. Right now? Believe it or not: off to do an exercise tape. Hoping for a new beginning.

Take it easy today! Drink your water and stay positive!

Shoot! Why did yesterday have to be the day I was incredibly profound and earth-shattering in my dazzling post? Not really.

Hi everyone. Still going strong OP in this neck of the woods. My right butt-cheek, both calves and upper back are sore today. I guess the Walk Away the Pounds are doing something. I'm following the schedule that came with them, so today, thank goodness, I get to do the one-mile tape. My goal is to exercise everyday. I've never done that in my life before, so maybe a little wake-up call to my body is in order here, huh? I have been known to exercise 3, maybe 4 times a week, but never 7. I'll give it my best shot and see what the results are.

My plans for this weekend center around my sweet daughter. Basketball game Saturday, sleepover birthday party Saturday night, indoor soccer game Sunday. Is that nuts or what? It seems there's never a time when there's not something going on though, so we just "squoze" in the birthday party because at this point if we don't do it, it's not gonna happen. Her birthday was Dec. 29, so it's high time.

Sooner! Take down the damn Christmas tree! (I'm taking my frustration with my neighbors and their blinking lights out on you, Sweet Thang!) *Again, in my best stern mom voice* There will be no little hearts or leprachauns on that tree, young lady!

Hope this post doesn't evaporate into cyberspace!

Happy Birthday to me!

My co-workers had a breakfast for me and there were lots of OP goodies - sausage, bacon and eggs, nuts, cheese. Not the usual donut fest that these breakfasts inevitably turn out to be. They're taking me to lunch at Chili's so I'll be able to get a burger or steak.

Pooky - Don't worry about having to wait. It's only a month and hopefully it will work quickly for you. And who knows, you may turn up preggers before you even start the drugs!
Ruth - Glad Lucy was a good girl at the vet.

Hi jenni, Chickadee, Tippy and all to come.

Have a great day!
Jennifer

Hi Everyone--quick post, my sinus infection has really got me dragging---head aching, sore throat, chills and I can barely keep my eyes open--not good when you have 31 kids to keep an eye on!! Going to be a long struggle til bedtime I'm afraid! The scale however was very kind to me--down 2 more pounds! That makes 3lbs. since my "scale epiphany" at the doctor on Monday. My blood results came back yesterday too---I have to start back on my thyroid medicine. My TSH was like 35--normal is like in the single digits I think. No wonder I'm tired all of the time!!! Okay best get going---you all take care and hopefully after a good night's sleep I will be energetic enough to post to all of you--I did read them all. Sorry I'm not being a good supporter today. I AM thinking of all of you though!!!! Take care!!

Default Happy Birthday, Jennifer!!

Not much time to post -- dh is behind me breathing fire as we speak (we share an office which is very shortly to change).

Another beautiful, mild day in Tiny Town. Is this heaven? No! It's IOWA! (I'm thinking I NEED A LIFE!)

I can't remember who (sorry!) -- but someone mentioned on the board yesterday about being a SAHM -- I did that and am here to commiserate w/you and fix you a nice, hot cup of tea! Staying home w/my kids and being a homemaker was the hardest thing I've ever done -- but worth every ounce of patience and endurance it took. Your post reminded me of the time I was "hiding" in the bathroom reading an Erma Bombeck book (about hiding from the kids in the bathroom -- I HIGHLY recommend her books for SAHM's) while my kids were running through the house yelling "Momma, Momma!" while I stayed quietly, quietly turning pages and prayed for just 2 more minutes of peace! My husband is a salesman and travels extensively so I had some of that too. About ten years ago a friend from college and I started taking a long weekend trip every spring (the only time I could sandwich in between dh's work and hunting) in a little town in Missouri. We eat out, shop, watch movies, take a day trip to some new, exotic place (you know, like Hannibal, MO) and talk and laugh until our faces hurt. It worked for me (and still does). I looked forward to it every year and it was just enough to get me through those swinging from the ceiling fan moments Peach mentioned. Keep us posted!

Oh, and Chickadee -- my tree is looking so gorgeous today that I'm thinking, no, I'm firmly convinced that I should leave it up all year...as a matter of fact, I've found an online service that has seasonal lights and ornaments for each and every holiday. As we speak, I'm sending off for hearts and teeny tiny chocolate roses for Valentine's Day -- if you ask me REALLY nicely, I'll post a picture for you!

Have a great afternoon, chicks!

Hey gang! I am no longer receiving e-mails when someone adds a note to this thread...anyone else having that problem? I also don't know how to reply to someone when they PM me so I am a bit lost....other than that I am doing not too bad. I did lots of housework today so that we can enjoy our weekend as a family. It has been a bit of a rocky start to the back to school and back to routine week...had a bit of a melt down yesterday and a bit of a BBQ chip breakdown...when I am happy it is so easy to stay OP, but when I am sad or lonely it is a little more difficult to resist....anyhow chips are gone and it is a new day....Happy Birthday Jen! and nice to hear from you all.....have a great weekend...I am off to work, doing evenings today and tomorrow and off Sunday! Have a good one! Liz in Canada

Talking Happy Birthday Jennifer!!!!!!!!!!!

Wonderful OP day today, and now I'm trying not to blow it! Wish me luck! The weekend and in the evenings are my downfall. At work there is no kitchen with goodies that scream for you to come get them!

Everyone have a great night, talk to you tomorrow!
