Default Daily Tuesday - October 16th

Good Morning Everyone!

I don’t know what is going on I am back on 200lbs again, why is it so difficult to get under 200 and stay there!!!
Since the 16th August I have not eaten one slice of bread a put a piece of sugar in my mouth, I only ate legal veggies and strawberries, for snacks I eat peanuts. I stopped drinking diet sodas with aspartame in it. Why must I loose and then gain a few, to loose some of it and gain it again. It’s very frustrating and depressing.

Ruth – sorry to hear about your sister.

Peach – I am glad to hear that the sinus has cleared finally.

Tippy – you must take care.

Jenny – thanks for the compliment, I am trying to grow my hair long. Hubby loves long hair.

Pooky – I am glad you feel allot better, I agree with your DH, You are NOT a failure.

Henlady – Thanks for reminding me of doing something special for myself, I think we tend to forget because we are all in the serving business always looking out for somebody else, being wives, mother’s etc. For me writing to all my friend is kind of doing something special for myself, it helps me focus on my goal. And reading all the letters is like a booster, I feel so much better knowing I am not alone on this journey.

AdoAnnie – glad to see you are back! Sorry to hear about the game your boys lost.

Chickadee – what an interesting name for a kitten, hope your back feels better today.

Schooby – don’t work too hard my friend, glad to hear you are back on OP.

Linda –I am very, very lazy to start, but I think if I only can get my bud so far to get involved in some exercises, it will help allot with the weight issue I am having now.

Love you all!!

Happy Tuesday!

I'm just glugging my second coffee and will check in at the Office for a bit before I go to my sister's farmhouse. Today she is moving from her big house in Ottawa to a condo apartment in Kingston and is sending stuff to Kingston, to the farmhouse and to the guesthouse on the Farm. Nothing is ever simple with my little sister but I'm sure it's all organized.

Have a great day, Chickies. Will check in later.

Hi everybody-

Whine, whine, whine. There. I'm done. I promise. That's all.

Just want to say hi, I wish I could be more active now, but I am just getting on the computer to check e-mail and get off. So, hi to you all! I haven't read the recent threads, but maybe I'll do that later tonight.

For now, have a great day, drink water, eat protein!

A good frosty morning to you all. It's a good thing i spent some time getting some plant cuttings yesterday cause they bit the big one last night.

Hey chickadee---my hubby built his barn to hold his junk and future junk still to be bought but i can't even get a room addition put on because i don't need the room????!!! Not quite a balanced picture. He saves EVERYTHING, including broken lawnmowers, bent nails and rusted you name it. Also the author of the book on femal rage is mary valentis. It's not in print anymore but a library can get it for you--even if it has to come from another state--i know that for sure because you can borrow my copy from oklahoma when i'm done. The dewey number is 152.47 Val.

Off to work--it's story hour for about 20 kids this afternoon. It's an interesting time but lots of hugs and giggles happening.

Yesterday we had to evacuate wal mart because of a powdery substance in the receiving room. I had already checked out so i didn't have to leave my low carb groceries sitting there and it's a good thing, too. Will wait to see what it is but don't really think anyone would want to do in little old tahlequah oklahoma unless they have something against the cherokee indians. One never knows--it's a strange world.

Have a joyful day, carol k

Hi,

I did some soul searching of my own this weekend & I had a breakthrough. I decided I no longer wanted my food addiction & eating disorder to run my life, so I gave them a physical form (sofa cushion) and let them have it. Told them to leave me alone & let me get on with life. Went on & on for an hour at least. Then, I did something I haven't done in I don't know how long - I ate like a "normal" person for 2 days. I didn't obsess over everything I put into my mouth & didn't let the trigger foods I ate (small amounts of fudge, cake & chips) turn into a binge. It felt good to get back OP yesterday without the binge/purge hangover or the cravings. Of course I have to deal with the weight I gained over these 2 weeks (size 8/10 to 12/14!!), but hopefully it's a lot of water & will be easy on & relatively easy off.

Ruth - so sorry about your sister

Hensa - When I finally reached 200 lbs it took forever for the scale to go any lower too. When it finally did, it had the nerve to go back up again. grrrr Don't give up, you'll get there. By the way, love your pics!

Scooby - Enjoy your visit with your parents. How long are they staying?

Hi to everybody!!

Jennifer
