I love expensive purses. I have been eyeing a Louis Vuitton Speedy Bag and was just about to buy one last weekend but ended up with a Michael Kors instead. I am so glad I didn't buy it because I just never realized how careless I am with my bag. After 7 days, My MK bag has a scratch in the leather from I don't even know what. I am so upset but at the same time I guess that's what you get for being so careless.
I just want a Speedy Bag. I have a horrible shopping problem and once I see it, and I want it, I WILL buy it.
I feel guilty sometimes too, but I try not to feel really bad - I don't have pets/kids and the way I see it, if there's room in my budget and I don't overspend in other ways, then its worth it if I want it!
Right now I have a Coach Poppy Madras bag and I love it. Its so summery and cheery. I tend to buy Coach and D&B the most but I have some really nice bags from, of all places, Coldwater Creek (and they are the bags I get the most compliments on). I try to keep a nice bag for each season, because I take them everywhere with me it really is part of my wardrobe. I justify it by flipping my hair back over my shoulder in a slight breeze and saying to myself "Because I'm worth it" in a breathy tone.
Marc Jacobs, Longchamp, Louis Vuitton, and Gucci are really popular in the big city that I live in.
Don't see people with coach these days. Same with Kate Spade-both were super popular 5-10 yrs ago. (me and my friend all used to have these bags in the early to mid 2000's)
I have a longchamp ($140), but would love the Louis Vuitton neverfull bag. LV is classic.

I love Fossil, the Key Per bags are so much fun and I have many. Their leather bags are close in style to the 35 anniversary Coach Legacy Vachetta bags. I love Vachetta leather and have several in the Legacy collection. Check on EBay if you are interested in those.
Coach has a New Willis bag out now that I love too!!! I like Rebekah Minkoff as well, but don't have any yet.
I'm tossing around the idea of a really nice purse for goal. I've used Fossils for the last 10 years or so and like them so I may just end up with one of those again despite making a goal.
BUT - if money was no object - what would be your bag of choice?
I see lots of Coach around here, but virtually no Louis Vuittons or other high end ones (maybe because there's no where to buy them except online here) Is Coach becoming the next Kmart brand?
You know, I have lived in NE for several months now, and I see Coach purses everywhere. It's THE mom accessory, I've noticed. I do love their wallets and wristlets.
I have a Tory Burch obsession at the moment (an obsession I can do absolutely nothing about- too expensive and no TB goodies to be found here).
I am a bag snob...lol! I love designer purses. I love just looking at them. I am currently on a Michael Kors kick....my everyday purse is a black leather coach bag.
I'm another one who adores the current Marc Jacobs line. I bought the Classic Q Hillier in yellow a couple of months ago and forced myself to return it the next day. :'(
I've been a clothes and accessory horse since I was a teenager. So I have quite the collection over the years. I got a couple Coach bags, one Marc Jacobs, and some other higher-end less popular designer brands. LV and Burberry are very classy brands but now that my husband and I have a baby, three dogs, and in total - 6 mouths to feed - spending several thousand dollars on a bag just for me is a bit much. I'd rather put $1000+ into my daughter's college fund, or at minimal, put it towards a "family" trip to Disneyland :]
If I had the money, I'd buy a Coach purse, dark brown, with NO bling on it. Something classy and timeless. My navy blue Coach purse is years old and doesn't show hardly any wear.
I have a couple of Hermes bags that are classics... and LV too... and I secretly love having things match, so I have Gucci and Prada bags that have matching wallets, iPhone cases, iPad cases, and even matching flip-flops for summer... I'm also a big fan of Ferragamo... and although I've spent a small fortune over the years, at least I don't have to worry about them not fitting...
