I didn't realize you were a 34 band (I couldn't remember), but have you looked at the Elomi swimsuits then??? They have a lot of high waisted briefs (remember they're UK sizes so a 12 is about a US 8).

I did see the Elomi suits, but then saw "plus size" and just assumed it wasn't for me - but American plus size and UK plus size are very different. I'll take a peak.

Elomi starts at 36" and size 16. They are just a wee too big for me - especially since I plan to shrink a bit more by summer. I would need a 34" and 14 UK

I would try Torrid or ModCloth.

Torrid doesn't carry small band sizes and Modcloth doesn't size by bra size

Ah, boo to Elomi not carrying any 34 bands! I know they carry them on occassion but I guess that their swimwear starts at 36.

I keep looking and looking and looking. I swear, I'll find a pattern or top I like, and then find I don't like th bottoms that come with them or reverse that. Or the tankini part looks funny (thinking of getting two different tops).

And really I, should ordere more than one size to besureni got the right size, but those bra suits in my size are pricey. I don't want to spend that much at once. Argh.... So much to think about!

I guess nothing is totally catching my eye as "I have to have this!" some do in some brands I can't wear, but not in any of the bra sizes I need. Good thin I have a lot of time, huh?

I'm sure too that a lot of brands haven't come out with their summer collection yet so the pickings might be slim. Maybe they'll bring out some new suits soon!

There is so much animal print stuff or tones that only work if you are tan or darker complexion. I'll keep looking!

Berry, I just got sucked in by an Athleta catalog. They have bra sized swim tops, but they only go up to DD. Their rash guards are FRIGGIN ADORABLE, though! http://athleta.gap.com/browse/category.do?cid=53510

I love her stuff too. I see several pieces from seasons past which I prefer to this year though...

So, if you are super fair, with freckles and never really tan with light brown/dark blonde hair, what color suit should I look for?

I always think I should stay away from blacks and yellows. Colors like bright pink, bright blue or grass green seem to be better colors. Whites, beige, pale blue, lavender, etc, wash me out.

So, why are so many suits for the big breasted in black? More than you see in regular lines. That's what's bumming me out. I'm not seeing good colors in the sizes I need.
