Okay, I know...that sounds like a goofy question! I realize that the actual size of your feet won't get smaller as you lose weight. But I went from a size 9 to a size 11W as I gained weight. I was hoping that as I lost, they would go back to a size 9. Unfortunately, though I've lost 50 pounds, my feet are still stubbornly stuck at 11W (though one pair of flip flops I own is really lose around the straps).
Did your shoe size become smaller once you lost the weight? "Boat-foot" over here wants to know.
My feet got smaller! Everyone is different but give it a little more time. I bet you will see a change. It might not be 2 or 3 whole sizes but some change. I lost about 1/2 size. You're doing great. Keep up the good work!
My feet went from not quite size 8 to not quite size 7 1/2 after a loss of 50 pounds. However, they started as 6/12 at my current weight, pre-kids. I don't think they are going to shrink any more. I think having the weight on them stretches ligaments and tendons out, and those don't really tigthen up.
Nope, my feet are exactly the same size they've been since I was 18, even after two kids (it seems women are always complaining that their feet got bigger after having kids). The only difference now is that I have to buy a wide width because I have bunions after too many years of trying to squeeze my feet into shoes with too high a heel or shoes that were too small.
Yep, I fit right in, it sounds like: size 8 before kid #1, size 8.5 before #2. Size 9.5 W at my peak weight and now I'm a 9 regular -- so 1/2 size smaller and regulars instead of wides. But I can wear really high heels now! (just for special occasions -- though I can wear them, I can't really walk in them too well ) I still kept my fancy dress shoes in the bigger, wider size since I don't wear them that often and some are quite nice. So I go out to dinner or a party with DH and clump around in the big shoes. I feel like a little kid playing dress up!
They're still long, at 9 1/2. However, after going from an A width through a B and on to C, they're back down to an average B. If I go back down to a ski-like A after losing more, then I'll be happy -- likewise, I'm happy with my wider skateboard-like B's....it was the schooner-like C's that I was NOT enjoying!
My feet also shrunk for some reason after losing the weight. I went from a size 8 to now wearing a size 7 or 7.5 depending on the style. It has been fun buying a whole new wardrobe, but to have to replace all my shoes too can get kind of costly. But that's OK. I am happy to have the weight off, and so the end result means spending a little more on myself.

My feet shrank too... from a 9 wide in 1989/90 to a 8.5 regular.
Of course all the REALLY CUTE SHOES are 7's and 7.5's... Actually my real shoe prob is tall boots - specifically riding boots for shows. It took me FOREVER to find a pair that would fit over my 16" calves without having to spend $700+ on custom boots. (For anyone out there who has this problem...I recommend Nittany Boots on eBay - they have those Xwide calf boots!!)
