I exercise in the morning (6 a.m. or 9:30 a.m. class) and cook dinner every evening, so the two don't conflict. I never spend more than 30 minutes prep time on dinner, and usually quite a bit less. I enjoy cooking and eating fresh meals, so I don't think preparing batches in advance would work for me.

I exercise in the am and over my lunch hour at work. I get home around 5:30pm on weeknights. I'm cooking for 3, DH, DS who gets home from swim practice about 20 after me and is starving. I'm hungry too! I make a meal plan over the weekend for 3-4 meals during the week. I usually make a big pot of soup in the crockpot at least every 10 days and freeze individual portions for lunches. For veggies I rely alot on frozen. I also use the crockpot at least once a week, usually twice. I also use the time bake on the oven for baked potatoes or roasted veggies.
