oddly, while I completely credit logging of my daily intake and activity as being the "secret" to my success, I haven't done it in over a year. A few months after I reached the 100 lb lost mark, I met my current beau and my life changed dramatically. We cook together and I no longer even know the quantities of any given ingredient in the final dish, and frankly often so many ingredients that it just got to be too much of a pain to estimate. So I just limit my serving size and during the day eat the same way I did during my weight loss. My activity less structured than before as well. BUT I had gotten rid of all clothes in larger sizes so if jeans feel tight, I ramp the exercise back up. My once a month weigh ins have confirmed these adjustments are maintaining the loss just fine, but I know if I'm going to take off any more, going to have to get back to logging it all.
