Silver, thanks.

I have changed doctors and my current ones are way better than the ones I used to have, but there is still a certain level of "I'm the doctor and I know better than you." Which, to be fair, they ought to know better than me, since they spent years in med school and I didn't. At least it's not as bad as the guy I saw once before who told me that none of my problems could possibly be related to my thyroid, I would probably develop rheumatoid arthritis, and I should take antidepressants since that was my real problem. Or the wrist specialist who told me, "It's not like you have metastatic breast cancer or something. What do you want me to do about it?"
Becky, interesting about the iodine. I just started taking a multivitamin which has iodine in it so maybe it will help. Do you get some time between leaving your current job and starting your new one?
Michele, I hope the Armour works for you! I seem to recall having headaches both when they had me on too much Synthroid and when they had me on not enough.
Weight is still down. Everything else is still not resolved. A week now since the injections and my feet still feel, well, like someone stuck needles in them and wiggled them around. Woke up in the middle of the night last night from an awful nightmare (I dreamed my dad tried to sexually assault me -- talk about disturbing!) with my feet, leg muscles, tailbone, forearms, wrists, and shoulder throbbing/aching and my pinkies numb and couldn't get back to sleep for an hour. At least I know what to do about the pinkies, I probably was just sleeping with my elbows bent too much. I'm going to consult with FIL (who is a doctor) when we see them this weekend and see what he suggests in terms of which of these multiple doctors I should be going back to and what to say to them.
I've been eating pretty well, coming in between 1500-1600 cals most days. Not quite as low as I usually need to lose but weight is still down. Maybe because of lack of exercise? I bought a new bike which I should be getting this weekend so hopefully my feet will at least be okay enough by then to ride a bike and I can get moving again.
